Puppy Love Layout

Todays layout is featuring Miss Empire from KasierCraft and of course my little monkey.  He adores our dog and honestly our dog is such a good sport for all the pulling, hugging and waggling that gets done to him.  This is just a classic picture of that kind of love.

Pixie Delight

Happy Friday everyone.  I've had a wonderful start of a long weekend and I've done nothing but craft away, which has been super fun.  This is a card I created during my craft jag using the Pixie Guardian die as the centerpiece.  I love the delicateness of her, she's beautiful.

I used the angel wing only of the Chasing Rainbow Doily which was the perfect backing for my pixie.

Here is a complete list of all the dies I used on this card.

The paper collection is the latest from KaiserCraft : Enchanted Garden and you can see how perfect it went with this die.  LOVE IT!!!!

Mystery Flowers?

Hi Cheery Lynn Fans!  Today I've got a card I created with the focal point being the stunning flowers in the center.  I'm not sure what kind of flower they are suppose to be, sunflowers maybe?  just pretty that's all I know.  I really love the way you can layer Cheery Lynn dies and create something so intricate and stunning in no time.

The paper that I used is from Graphic 45, French Country, so I thought the chicken wire die was a must to use with the paper.  Don't you think?

Here is a complete recipe of dies used for this challenge.

Remember to join the fun this month with Cheery Lynn's Summer Blast.  The challenge this week is Keeping it Krafty (use Kraft paper).  I used Kraft paper for the center of my flowers and also the border in the background, so go get your Cheery Lynn dies and join the fun.  You might just win!!!

A Perfect Pair

I know you've had to have enjoyed this weeks perfect pairing with Cheery Lynn Dies and Prickley Pear Stamps over on the Cheery Lynn Blog.  It's been so much fun for the designers to really get to get inky.   Today I created this butterfly card.  Of course my flowers are created with Cheery Lynn dies along with the lace border, but the stamp/cut butterfly is courtesy of Prickley Pear along with the lovely sentiment.

and here are all the Prickley Pear goodies I used

See you next week.

Card of a Different Shape

I had some fun this week just playing with different shaped cards.  Bending, folding, snipping here and there and this is the creation I came up with.  I used several of the Mega Doily Dies for my base and then added to.  Now the trick is going to be finding an envelope that would work, LOL.  May just have to be one of those you hand deliver.

Addicted to Cheery Lynn

During the making of this card it came to my attention...I'm addicted to Cheery Lynn Dies.  Actually I think I already knew it but I'm coming clean to the world.  Darn if they aren't just wonderful.  Everything on this card used a Cheery Lynn Die and if I could have squeezed a couple more on there, I think I would have, LOL.  All of the flowers were handmade and woven throughout the chicken wire.  I really wish everyone could see this one in person, because I really love the final outcome.

This week our challenge is die flowers...so I hope I've inspired you to give some flowers a whirl yourself and enter our challenge.  You could win a $20 shopping spree.  CLICK HERE to join our challenge.

Here is a complete list of all the dies that are used.

Hunt & Gather Letter Rack

The colors in KaiserCraft's Hunt and Gather couldn't go anymore perfect in my living room. I knew when I started making it, that it would hang right by the front door..and that's where it is now.  I love the Beyond The Page projects from Kaiser.  They are so sturdy and easy to put together and I love how you can decorate them and create so many various looks.

I painted the base with plain paint and then rub it down with Inka Gold in highlighting areas.  The delicate vine that I used throughout the project is a die from Cheery Lynn.  Love it!!!

You know I had to nestle some pearls in the clusters here and there. Wouldn't be one of my projects with some form of pearl on it, LOL.

I hope everybody has a great long weekend and enjoy the Labor Day holiday.

Hugs,

Easel Love Card

Good Morning and I hope the start of your week is going great.  Today I wanted to share with you an easel card I made.  The collection is from KaiserCraft Miss Nelly and you know how much I love the colors in this set...happy, happy, happy.

The front of the card is adorned with handmade flowers using Cheery Lynn Dies.  The petals were all spritzed with water, crushed and then left to dry.  Once layered they really are full and beautiful.

The interior of the card is much more simple...so of course it will close.  The liquid pearls help tie in to the pearl brads on the front.

I always think easel cards are so pretty, but I especially liked created it in the circle shape...just little different.

Have a great week and I'll see you Wednesday.

Hugs,
