Heartfelt meets Scor-Pal

Heartfelt and Scor-Pal have joined forces this week and WOW have there been some beautiful projects.  Today I'd like to share this treat box with you and show you how you can make your own in no time at all.

Step 1: Cut your paper 8 1/2 x 11.  Line your paper on the Scor-Pal with the 11inches on the side as shown in the picture above.  Score on the 2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2, and the 10 inch marks.

Step 2: Rotate your paper and score on the 2 1/2 line.

Step 3: Cut slits in the bottom portion up to the scored line and then cut wedges out of the flaps on three out of the four.  Be sure you leave one a solid square for the very bottom to be solid.

Step 4: Use your scor-tape and adhere to the flaps to create your box.

Step 5: Once you have your box taped together you can use your Crop-A-Dile to punch two holes on opposite sides.  This will be where you can run ribbon through to hold your box top in place.

Step 6 : Cut a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 square and score each side at 1 inch.

Step 7: Cut slits in each corner as shown above.  Use more Scor-Tape on your corners to form your top for the box.  Then decorate as desired.

Here are all the products from Heartfelt Creations I was lucky enough to get to use on this box.

Wish you were here!!!

It's a Cheery Lynn kind of day and I've got the perfect card to kick off this bright and sunny summer day.  Today I created this card using Graphic 45's latest collection " Bohemian Bazaar ".  It's so darn colorful.  I love it.

I created the ruffled edges using Anastasia border.  I spritz the cut dies with water very lightly then I pleated into the ribbon shape.  I let the borders dry and then adhered them onto the back of the cardstock.  I love the look.  It gives a ton of movement to my project.

Here is a complete list of dies used on this card:

Cake Treat Box

I made this cake treat box elegant with KaiserCraft collection " Now and Forever " but you could make it really whimsy for a child birthday party or any occasion.   The back open up so you could store a little keepsake, candies or anything inside for some lucky person to take home.

I used the clear plastic from some left over packaging to make the curl that the butterfly rests on.  It give the illusion he is suspended in air.  It's really pretty!!!!
