Create a swing easel card: Graphic 45 Tutorial

Want to learn to create a swing easel card?  Well then today's your day.  I've got a step by step tutorial over on Snapguide that will walk you through how to create this card...and then you can adorn it with your favorite Graphic 45 collection.

Here's the tutorial

I've used the classic collection CityScapes from Graphic 45 and it's really a sharp collection.  The flowers were created by hand so I could get the right look.

As my term draws to an end please take a moment and stop by the Graphic 45 blog and leave some love, or better yet, leave some here and there.

Have a great week.

Celebrate the Holidays with this Graphic 45 Bendi Card Tutorial

Today I'm sharing this super cool Christmas Bendi card with you from Graphic 45's Christmas Carol collection.  I love the way it looks like the characters are literally walking off the card while the village is nestled in the background.

Here's the tutorial to see how you too can create this adorable dimensional card.

Create a Flip Flap Mini Book with Graphic 45

Hi Everyone, today's project is one I created for Graphic 45 and it's just plum fun.  This is a mini book you can create with 8 pieces of card stock and a lot of imagination.  In fact I'll show you step by step out to put this whole book together.  Just follow along with my Snapguide Tutorial.  Check out

I've used the World's Fair Collection from Graphic 45 and I don't think I could have chosen a more perfect paper for the theme of my book.  This is from a trip my sister, son and I took to Disneyworld two years ago.  It was a priceless trip and one that I'm glad I have this little book to remind me of just a few of our wonderful times.

Please be sure to stop by Graphic 45's blog and leave a comment...let them know what you think of my work.  I'd also love to hear from you on my blog letting me know what projects you'd like to see in the future.

Nothing like some Upcycled Altered Art with Graphic 45

I always love to upcycle things when I can so when I found the inspiration for these little light bulb vases I was thrilled.  They are simple to create and you can make a grouping of them in no time.  It’s a great way to show off those single blooms.  I used the Steampunk Spells collection but there are so many Graphic 45 collections that would also be perfect for this project.  So the next time your bulb blows out…don’t throw it away, upcycle it into something beautiful.

Be sure to check out my Snapguide Tutorial that will show you step by step how to create these little vases.

Mixed Media Tutorial Tag with Graphic 45

Today I have a mixed media tag I created for Graphic 45.  It has so much texture on it I know you'll want to try this technique for yourself.

Check out How to Create a Stamped Texture With Graphic 45 by Lori Williams on Snapguide.

One detail of this tag I really love that isn't highlighted on the tutorial is the Graphic 45 Washi Tape bow/ribbon.  I just think it really shows off their beautiful tape in an unusal way.

Be sure to go Graphic 45's blog today and see more detailed pictures of this project that really highlight the texture and you can also find a great back to school project by Donna.

Get Gilded with Graphic 45 and Faber Castell

I'm lucky enough to get to partner with Faber Castell and Graphic 45 for a Blog Hop they are putting together, and this is the project I created using the two.

The collection is from Graphic 45, Gilded Lily and it's just plume regal.  I created the flowers using various Faber Castell goodies including some of their Gelatos.  I have to tell you, I'm hooked on the Gelatos now, LOL.

I created a simple step by step tutorial to show you how you can make some of these beautiful flowers yourself.

Learn a new technique with Graphic 45

Today I'm sharing this over the top card I created for Graphic 45 using the Precious Memories collection.  Actually as stunning as this card looks, it's really not that hard and to prove it to you I've made a step by step tutorial to show you how.

This easel card has the traditional easel card but it also include a four drawer base for you to tuck in a treat or two.

Don't forget to decorate the interior of your card too...this is especially important with the easel card so you have something for the top of your card to tuck into so it can stand up on it's own.

If you'd like to see all the supplies I used on this card, hop over to Graphic 45's blog and check it out.  Also be sure to sneak a peek at Katie's card that is perfect for the Saint Patty's Day celebration.

Shake Up Some Springtime with this Graphic 45 Tutorial

Well today is my day to shine with Graphic 45.  I always love these days when I get to show off my latest and greatest using one of their beautiful collections.  Once Upon A Springtime was always one of my favorites so I was happy to see it as one of their re releases this year at CHA.

I created this shaker card that encases fairies that have glitter and pearls raining down around them as the card is shook.  It's so pretty and believe it or not, it's easy.  In fact I've got a Snapguide Tutorial to show you exactly how easy it is to make your own.

All of the flower clusters on my card are hand stamped, colored, molded and then clustered together to create the bunches.  The fairies have been fussy cut and layer over the frame...I love the finished result.

My fellow design team member GINGER is also showing a beautiful card she created using the Artisans Style Collection on the Graphic 45 Blog today so be sure to go see it.

Oh and have you heard...the CALL IS OUT!!!!!!
