A Time To Celebrate with Graphic 45
Today I'm happy to share the release of the latest collection from Graphic 45 " A Time To Celebrate". I had a photo of my friends baby girl that was perfect for this layout. She's covered in her first birthday cake...how precious!!!! The vintage images of the collection make fussy cutting so much fun and I love clustering the cut images together.
Be sure to hop over to Graphic 45's blog today and see more beautiful works from more design team members.

Birthday Day Wishes
Happy Friday everyone. Are you ready to jump into the weekend with a birthday card for ABC Design Team. This weeks project was one that I really fretted over. Do you have weeks like that, just have a hard time finding that mojo. That's how I felt this week, but once I finished my card...I FELL IN LOVE. Adore this baby. I'm not sure I'll be giving this one away, I like it so much. LOL.
Here is what I used to create my project for this week. I started with Black Bazzil Cardstock and cut my base card out using Spellbinders Grand Label Four. The base designer paper is from my favorite line...yeap you guessed it Graphic 45's Steampunked. I inked the edges and glued down to my base. Then I created the flag banner cutting triangles out and layering them together. The roses were made using Spellbinders Scalloped Circles(the smallest sizes) . You just punch your circle out and cut in a swirl towards the center. I cut about one half to two times around and the cut out the very middle. Roll from the inside out and form your roses. I also fold the scalloped edges outward to add some flavor. Glue the roses down once you have them complete and top the banner off with some pearl/gem accents.
Next I punched a border with the Martha Stewart Deep Punch die Garden Trellis and edges with some polka dot ribbon. Finally the Birthday sentiment tag was created stamping the sentiment from the adorable collection of Craft Secrets/ Fairyland and then I heat embossed it. Added some pearls to the side and also a pearl bauble that I colored with a Copic Marker (Burnt Umber E29) to the bottom right corner. I've really loved using my copics to color all types of embellishments to make them blend in. The tag was complete with a button and some waxy flax in black for the bows and knots.
Next week I'll be kicking off a whole new theme for ABC DT so be sure to tune in next Friday. Also don't forget there is still time to participate in our challenge for this month where you can win up to $25 in free product from our store. Check it out here.

Happy Birthday
I had a long day, cleaning house, working and of course taking care of the kids...I really was dead on my feet when I put the boys to bed this evening. I really should have gone to bed myself but I just wanted to have a little fun this evening, so I went out into my craft cube (that's what I've starting calling it) and made this birthday card. It was a quick one, but I just needed a little mommy craft time and this fit the bill.
This cards qualifies for the following challenges:
