Prickley Pear Monday

Happy Monday everyone.  I had such a great weekend, getting so much done this weekend.  I'm ready to conquer the week.

Today I have my latest Prickley Pear Rubber Stamp creation to share with you.  I also used one of my new Fiskars banner punch to help with the banner...made it so fast and easy.

Happy Hummingbird

Happy Monday everyone.  Today I created a card using the Hummingbird Collage stamp from Prickley Pear.  I used my new distress markers to vary the colors on the stamp and I have to say 

they are wonderful. They stay wet for a long time so you have plenty of time to color in your whole image.  

The paper is of course from KaiserCraft...they all are so beautiful why would I know use them.

Butterflies and Monday

I can't believe it's already Monday...Wow time is flying by.  I had a great weekend, got a lot of work done and am ready for a wonderful week. 

Today I've created this card using Prickley Pear stamps and KaiserCraft paper.  I do love to pop butterflies off the pages.  I used the Mini Butterflies Stamp set and Mini Butterflies matching dies.

Hello Paris!

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to Prickley Pear Monday.  Today we are heading to Paris, well at least the theme of the card is, LOL.  I used the Flourished Eiffel Tower stamp from PPRS.  I was able to get my hands on some of WOW embossing powders silver glitter embossing powder and it was perfect for this card.  I wish the camera captured how much bling the embossing powder really gives.

Prickley Pear Monday

I love Monday's as it's always a time to get inspired by Prickley Pear Stamps and the rest of the design team.  Today I created this simple card using the Hibiscus Stamp and die, Graphic 45 and some of the new Magic 8 punches.

I used the Mini Birds and the Mini Butterflies for this card.  I really was striving for a simple card but wanted to do something a little different, so I have the hummingbird suspended in mid air over the top of the layered flower.

I cut a thin strip of acetate cardstock and curled it, then glue it to the back of the flower and then the back of the hummingbird...thus the illusion of flight.
