Happy Spring!
Happy Monday and Happy April everyone. Today is Prickley Pear day and I have a Spring Card to share with you. I wish my pictures showed how the word spring is actually mounted on springs and pops right up from the card.
I used the Spring stamp , Mini Butterflies set and Mini Butterflie Die. Having the matching dies makes the flowers and butteflies go so fast.
Now you can go to Prickley Pears Blog and see all the other creations the design team has come up with.

Handmade Flower Tutorial
Happy Monday Morning. I'm so excited to share a great new tutorial with you using Paperclay® and Prickley Pear Stamps. I'm going to show you how easy it is to create these elegant flower/blooms.
Take a dry paint brush and lift some fairy dust on the bristles then sprinkle wet flower with fairy dust
First step is to gather the supplies above, Don't forget your favorite Prickley Pear Stamp Sentiment!
Roll out a thin sheet of Paperclay® and cut out your flower petal. This is actually a die cut used for making sugar paste flowers and you can find them in many larger craft stores.
Layer two petals and press down with ball tool. This will make the flower cup inward.
Pinch your third petal inward and glue into the center of your flower. This will give that full look in the center of your flowers.
Flower before coloring
Spray your flower with base coat of glimmer mist.
Spray again with glimmer mist to make the fairy dust run and blend.
Let dry and you have a beautiful finished flower to add to your projects. Now stamp your sentiment from Prickely Pear...I used FIND WHAT YOU SEEK and you have a beautiful card in no time...plus it's a one of a kind for sure.

Prickley Pear Monday
Wow it's Monday again...time just seems to fly by lately. Today it's Prickley Pear day and I have a sneak peek stamp set for you. It's not quite available but I wanted to wet your whistle for what's coming down the pike for you over at PPRS. The stamp is a background stamp and I wanted to highlight how cute it is used as a background but how you could also show it as a single image.
I just cut two of the owls out of the background stamp to create the focal embellishment. I also had to use one of my favorite dies from Prickley Pear...Scalloped Circle. I do love love it!
Now you need to head over to the PPRS blog and check out the rest of the design team's work...I know it's going to inspire you.
Have a great week and I'll see you soon.

The flowers and the sentiment are both from Pricky Pear Clearly Hibiscus Flower set. They also have the die to match.

Two Hearts with Prickley Pear
Happy Monday everyone it's a Prickley Pear day. I created this card using the Heart Key Crown Clear Stamp set and the Scalloped Circle Die (one of my favorites). The paper is from a company I just recently discovered, Pion.
For a Valentines Day card I liked using non traditional colors. Of course...I added pearls, LOL.

Prickley Pear Monday
Happy Monday everyone. Yeap it's Prickley Pear day and I've got a Valentines Day card to share with you. I used the Valentine Balloon stamp for the main stamp. I piece cut the hearts on the balloons and covered them with Sakura so they'll pop.
The sentiment is from our current release: Let's Go Together. The paper line is from Crate: Emma's Shop. I've had this paper for a while and I love it so, but have never used it. I'm one of those funny birds who hates to use my favorite paper...fear I'll run out of them. Yes I know it's crazy, but I do tend to do that. I'm going to have to really push myself to quit that bad habit.
Have a great week.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like.......
Christmas!!!! I can't believe Christmas music is already on the radio...really? I do love the season but somehow this year I'm not getting into it quite yet. Maybe this card will do the trick.
The collection of paper is from Beary Scrap/ My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas. I love the retro feel of the paper...50ish looking. It really is different and fun and you should have it in your collection for sure.
The stamps and dies I used are from Prickley Pear, along with the sketch. I love the way Prickley's clear stamp line up with the cut dies perfectly...really it makes creating super fun.
Now here is the really great part... Prickley Pear has changed their sketch challenge...you don't even have to use their stamps, just follow the sketch, link it up and you might win a $15 gift certificate for whatever your heart desires in the store. What it even better...right now at Beary Scrap it's anything goes and you could win a $30 gift certificate to the store...WOW!!! Just think one project would satisfy both challenges and there are some great prizes out there. So jump in and play.

Prickley Pear Monday!
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, you have to take pause and think of everything you have to be thankful for. I have so much and am so blessed. Of course my family is first but I also have so much more to be thankful for...including the design teams that I'm fortunate to work with. I'm so loving Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps...there is so much diversity in their stamps.
This Vintage Cornucopia stamp is wonderful for the season and the sentiment from Ralph Waldo Emerson, well it's just perfect. The paper is from KaiserCraft...another team I'm so thankful to be a part of.
Now you need to go check out more great cards from the rest of the PPRS design Team on the Prickley Pear's Blog.
