Welcome Spring and Welcome Floral Delight: Sara Davies Signature Collection from Crafters Companion

I don't know about you but I'm just loving the season change.  Flower are starting to bloom and spring is here...I LOVE IT!!!.  I great way to celebrate is with Sara Davies Signature Collection : Floral Delight.  The colors, the flowers, the dies all help to create great artwork that pays tribute to the lovely season of spring we are in.

I'm adore the flower dies from this set and went wild making them.  Did you know if you add a spritz of water to your petals before you mold them it will help break down the fibers of the paper and give a more organic look.   It also adds stiffness to your flowers when they are dry, which is a plus on any project.

Be sure to check out all the goodies I used for this card on Crafter's Companion's website.

Downton Abbey Shadow Box from Crafter's Companion

I love all the little what nots in the Downton Abbey collection and they certainly all come together in a little shadow box.

This is really a must have collection from Crafter's Companion...check it out on HSN.

Need a tip?  Don't be afraid to mix and match patterned papers from the same collection.  Even though there may be a vast difference in the collections patterns you'll find it adds a lot of interest and fun to mix and match the paper patterns and once you're finished you'll find it all works together perfectly.

Fancy Folds with the Downton Abbey Papercrafting Collection

Do you love fancy fold cards as I do?  Then the Downton Abbey Papercrafting Collection CD's are something that you really should invest in.  They are chocked full of crafts ideas, papers, images and tutorials including this adorable three panel easel card.  This is all from the Downton Abbey Papercrafting Collection that is currently available on HSN from Crafter's Companion.

Need a Tip?  When you have diecuts with embossing on them,  to really make them come to life, ink the die cut with a contrasting color before you remove the die.  This will really accent all those fine details of your image.

I so love Butterflies with Crafter's Companion

Well my new passion is butterflies.  When my son Will was alive I adored bees.  They are one of those things in nature that just can't be explained and yet they are a miracle of God...so that became Will's little mascot the honey bee.  Now that he has transformed and is made whole again in heaven, butterflies have become something that remind me of him.  Oh I bet there are butterflies all over heaven like we have never seen.

This is a card I created for Crafter's Companion and I love the butterflies throughout but I was able to make it extra special and sparkle with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens....YUM!!!!

I love the butterfly and the way he is going to take flight and just flitter off the card....

Need a tip?  Don't be afraid to blend your colors with the Spectrum Noir Sparkles.  You can use a stamp block to blend the colors.  It makes for a perfect little palette.

The Sparkle is POPPING out with Crafter's Companion

If you didn't know, Poppies are my favorite flower.  They are just stunning with their red and pop of black....What a beautiful creation of God.  This stamp set is one that lends itself to being a poppy or any other flower depending on how you color it...great versatility.

I cut along the stamped line and curled my petals up just a bit to add some dimension.  Of course I had to add it to the card with some foam tape, because foam tape makes everything better, LOL.

Be sure to head over to Crafter's Companion and check out all the latest and greatest stamp sets.

Let Crafter's Companion Inspire You

It's so lovely to be able to sit down with some colorful pens and plan papers and be able to create a beautiful card, such as this.  I love the scene I was able to achieve stamping and coloring in with the Spectrum Sparkle and Spectrum Aqua markers.  It really did inspire me.  Have you been able to check out Crafter's Companion's new sparkle pens?  I'd love to hear what you think?

A Little Bird Told Me with Crafter's Companion

The new Spectrum Noir Sparkles are really fun to use.  You can use them as straight markers but did you know you could also use them like watercolors....now that's some fun.  This little blue bird is sparkling away though I'm afraid it's really hard to capture with my camera...but trust me, he is.
Gotta love those Crafter's Companion goodies.  You can always find a complete list of products used on this project below along with the link to the Crafter's Companion site.

It was a Pampered Weekend with Crafters Companion

After a long holiday weekend this is exactly how I feel...pampered.  I'm sure I won't be feeling that way in the morning when the work week begins again and I'm up at the crack of dawn to take my little boy to school...but for now.

I created this card using the Spectrum Noir new sparkle markers and OMGOSH...they are wonderful.  I had so much fun coloring with them.   I had colored the base with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and then colored over selected portions with the sparkle markers.  The only thing I need to get down is the photography of the sparkle so you can see it better from home.

Here's a list of all the Crafter's Companion goodies I used to create the circle easel card.

Bendi Card with Crafters Companion

I love bendi cards and this is one I created with Crafter's Companion and some of their edgeables dies.  They sure make it easy to create something that is just stunning but still really easy.

Unfortunately the picture doesn't do this one justice as it was glitter paper...which made it really festive.  The red reindeer on the front adds that finished pop and you're ready to go.

Here's a complete list of goodies I used from Crafters Companion to complete this card.
