Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Happy Wednesday...I don't know about you but this week is flying by for me.  This is a card I did using Heartfelt Creations stamps and Crate paper.  The butterfly is ready to take flight and fly right off the card.

Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Blog today to see more beautiful inspirations from the rest of the design team. I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by.

Prickley Pear Monday

Good Morning Everyone.  I hope this is a blessed week for each of you.  It's Prickley Pear time and honestly I did a ton of cards for PPRS this weekend, so get ready for the rest of the week to catch a glimpse of them.

This is one that I did using the Poinsettia Postage, Circles Clear Set Winter and the Scallop Die .  Yeap believe it or not I actually cut the flower out with my X-acto tool.  I then used Helmar's Scrap Dots to adhere the layers...this glue is great for attaching really small pieces and still give that dimension that I love.

See you later this week with more Prickley Pear Cards.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween...I hope everyone has a safe and fun day.  I made this Halloween card this weekend using some of my Prickley Pears stamps (Witches Boot) ....so love their stamps!!!  I add some twine around the shoe circle and also some purple rhinestones for the current Shabby Tea Room Challenge.  I haven't done challenges in a while and this weekend I've done several...it's been good for my mojo.

Be safe as the little one are out and about all dressed up and I"ll see you soon.

Happy Birthday In Style

Happy Sunday everyone..I hope you're all getting some relaxing crafting done today.  I made this card for my Aunt's birthday.  I'll have to hand deliver it as my cards always have a lot of dimension and the mailman wouldn't care for my card, LOL.

I also got a chance to play with some of my KaiserCraft basics paper that I've had around and just haven't used...and now that the card is finished I can't tell you why I waited so long.

This card qualifies for the following challenges

Shake It Up Baby!

I love shaker cards...they are so much fun.  This is one I did for KaiserCraft using the Bonjour collection.  I thought the glass glitter worked great with the feel of the card.

Have you ever made a shaker card?  Have you seen them and wanted to make one, but you weren't sure how?  Be sure to check out my tutuorial over at KaiserCraft's blog and be sure to make your own.

Heartfelt Prayer Box

I'm very thankful to be serving another term with Creations Design Team.  They have really beautiful stamps, not to mention I love the owners Linda and Emma Lou.

This is a little prayer box I created for Heartfelt.  Sometimes it's easy to loose track of things we are praying for or more important what God's answer is for them.  Having a prayer box or journal that helps remind you and also reflect on how God is at work is a wonderful thing.

I created the handmade flower using Heartfelt stamps and also created the patterned paper for the base of the box with Heartfelt stamps.

KaiserCraft Sketch

Did you know that KaiserCraft has sketch challenges and there are prizes you could win.  Every Saturday a new sketch is revealed, during the month you can do any or all of the sketches for your chance to win.  How easy is that.  The sketches are great to boost your creative juices..so be sure to check it out.

This is a layout I did of my sister and I using one of this month's sketches.  It's really fun to see all the different interpretations of one sketch.  I probably take sketches a bit to literal, so what would you do with the sketch?  The paper collection is from Kaiser's newest release Bonjour...it's beyond femine and beautiful.

Be sure to link up your layout if you use this sketch on Kaiser's Blog...we'd love to see your work.

Prickley Pear Monday

PLEASE BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN AND SEE TODAYS SCRAPPING COTTAGE POST TOO!

This is one of those cards I finished and I loved...and as I've told you all before that's not something that happens often.  I created this card for Prickley Pear Monday and I just love everything about it...the colors, the dimension, the stamp set, pearls...honestly everything.

I used Joys Be Many and Collaged Pinecone tag Prickley Pear stamps to created the sentiment embellishment.  With the help of an X-acto tool the two stamps came together perfectly. The paper collection is from KaiserCraft / December 25th and I love it's rich colors.  Of course you know I had to throw some pearls in for good measure.

The sketch is from Card Patterns current challenge # 138

Have a great week

Hot Cocoa Cafe Sneak Peek

You are all going to love the new collection from Cottage Cutz/ Scrapping Cottage that is coming out soon.  Hot Cocoa Cafe is so stinkin cute, it's not even funny. It's so detailed it really doesn't need anything else on the card.

I also used the Scallop Three Edger die along the top...fit in just perfectly.

Have a great week and I'll see you in a few days.
