Corner Adorners with Cheery Lynn

Cheery Lynn's current challenge is corner adorners.  I wanted to honor the challenge with the traditional corners, but I also wanted to think outside the box just a bit.  I chose to use some of Cheery Lynn corner die to make the golden star burst in the center.  I love mixing, layering and creating different shapes with dies and this one turned out beautiful.  One of the things I love the most about Cheery Lynn dies is how delicate they are, yet they really do come out of the die so easy.

Hope you enjoy my card and hope you enjoy this wonderful Fall weather we are staring to experience.....My Favorite!!!!!

Peace, Joy and Love Holiday Card

Can you believe another week is almost over...good grief, where is time going.  Today I have a Christmas card I made using KaiserCraft's Just Believe collection.  The flowers were created from Kaiser Paper petal flowers that had been water misted, crumbled and then layered for a lot of texture.

Forever Periwinkle

Here is a layout I created using Periwinkle collection from KaiserCraft.  I love all the colors in the set.  Just beautiful.  Of course the paper flowers are handmade.  I used a punch from Martha Stewart and boy did they pop out fast. Hope you enjoy.

Soar with Mixed Media

Mixed media is so hot these days.  This is a wall plaque I created and played with some thick modeling past.  I really liked stamping in it and seeing the texture I could create.  The paper collection that I used was Periwinkle from KasierCraft.

The handmade flowers were created using Cheery Lynn dies.  They make handmade flowers really easy.

The little nest is from Kasier too!  I cut it in half so I could mount it on the plaque and loved the way it added that perfect 3-d touch.

Challenge Time

I love challenges as they make you think outside your comfort zone or get those creative juices flowing.  This is a card I created combining the current challenge from JustRite Stamps: combine three or more patterned papers and Cheery Lynn : Black and Orange Card.

Vintage Tri-Fold Card

I really have loved the holiday collections from KaiserCraft this year.  I  do like vintage styles and they have had several including this one Turtle Dove.  This is a tri fold card I created.   I think the handmade paper flower on the front really adds a great pop and isn't that little girl on the front so sweet.  Once it's open you'll see it's two little girls and it reminds me of my sister and I.  Love it!!!

Here is a picture of the card completely opened with all the panels showing.

Butterfly Kisses Easel Card

What a girly, happy, cheery collection from KaiserCraft....Butterfly Kisses.  I can't say this is my favorite color combination but sometimes using things that are the norm are a great way to push me outside of my comfort zone.  I do like the way this card turned out so it just show challenges can be so worth it.

Vintage Peace Garland

I love this time of the year.  The holiday season is fast approaching and will be here before we know it.  Honestly that's the best time, the anticipation, planning and excitement.

This is a vintage Christmas garland that I created using KasierCrafts holiday collection Just Believe.  I think the chunky vintage glass glitter really sets this project off.  I've taken a picture of each close up so you can see all the details.
