May Arts Design Team Audition

Who doesn't love ribbon, everybody loves ribbon!!! so when I saw that May Arts was having their design team call and I figured I give it a whirl and see what might happen.

I've got several projects of mine highlighted that I think show great use of ribbon.  The first one is this woven card and I even created an easy step by step tutorial for you to be able to make one for yourself.

Be sure to click the link below

The paper collection I used for this card is Graphic 45's latest collection " Gilded Lily.

The second project I'm sharing is a burlap wreath I made that features May Arts ribbon.  Wreaths can be a great way to upcycle some of your old costume jewelry that you aren't sure what to do with.  The best part about it is, you can still take off the jewelry and wear it if you ever want to.  What a great way to store your jewelry and yet still get to enjoy it, nestled among some beautiful ribbon.

My final project was a box with a mini book that I created for Graphic 45 using their Botanical Tea collection.  I adorned this project with some of May Arts Silk ribbon which really added a luxurious touch.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at some of my projects and wish me the best of luck, as I'm sure there will be some major talent trying out.

Seed Packet Fun with Graphic 45 and Hampton Art

With the warm weather on the way, it's that time of year to start planting the garden.  I couldn't think of a better card to create that this Home Sweet Home, Graphic 45 card highlighting the seed pack stamps from Hampton Art.

The images were colored with the Spectrum Aqua's watercolor pens.  They make blending the colors so easy and I love the finished result.

I hope you have a safe and happy Memorial Day and I'll see you on Wednesday.

A Harvest of G45 Home Sweet Home Shadow Box

Have you seen the latest shadow boxes from Graphic 45?  They are just yummy and so is the Home Sweet Home collection that I used to decorate this piece.  I love incorporating the little mini terra cotta pots, they just blended so well especially with the fussy cut veges.

One of the other new G45 staples I used on this piece was the metal claw feet.  They are just stunning and add so much to any project.

Now if you want to continue to be inspired and I'm sure you do, head over to the Graphic 45 blog and see Tati Scraps Recipe Book...is adorable.

Home Sweet Home with Graphic 45

With the weather turning pretty I've been able to get out in my garden more and more.  I'm starting to see flowers pop up and new spring growth emerge from the ground and I love it.  Home Sweet Home Collection from Graphic 45 embodies that garden fresh feel.

This card has layer upon layers and truly comes to life with all the bright colored patterned paper.  I've also stitched around the card with my sewing machine giving it another layer of homemade pop.

Wouldn't you love to see more from this collection?  Well you can, hop over to Graphic 45's blog today and see Nadya's beautiful card she has created using Home Sweet Home.
