I've loved this collection from Heartfelt Creations and I'm sorry to say this is the last day I'll be featuring...but don't worry there is an amazing collection that you will love that will be premiering next week. Tease Tease Tease.
I created this card using one of the Flip Fold Inserts and I just think it turned out stunning. Using the flip folds will really help you make complicated looking cards...but do them easy. Want to know how easy? Head over to Heartfelt Creations blog and take a peek of the directions of this card for yourself.
Now I have to tell you I played with Tim Holt'z distress crayons for these flowers and I think I have a new love....OMWord...they are beautiful in color and fun to work with. If you haven't already picked up some to play with I encourage you to do so.
I'll see you next week with that whimsy release I teased you about in the beginning and until then...Happy Crafting.

Discover Layout with Graphic 45
HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING MONTH!!!!
Sigh. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time even though I adore my son being 10 years old now and all the questions and funny things he'll say. Still there is something so sweet about those toddler years and the time of discovery for a little peep. I created this layout with some pictures I had of my boy from that time people and I used the latest collection from Graphic 45 " Voyage Beneath the Sea. Who wouldn't love the colors in this color much less the theme.. it's just so trendy right now.
Be sure to also check out my step by step tutorial on creating this layout. I'll give you some simple little tricks that will help you create more detailed and interesting layouts.

To A Beautiful You with Heartfelt Creations
I'm so loving this collection from Heartfelt Creations...Sunrise Lily. It's just beautiful and delicate as so many of their collections are, but the colors are rich and different. Of course glitter makes everything better and I've coved the bouquet with dries clear glue topped off with glitter. The flowers also had some glitter added to pull everything together.
Be sure to head over to Heartfelt's Blog today and see all the beautiful work from the rest of the design team. Also if you haven't voted be sure to vote for your top five returning design team members that you'd like to see continue on.

I so love Butterflies with Crafter's Companion
Well my new passion is butterflies. When my son Will was alive I adored bees. They are one of those things in nature that just can't be explained and yet they are a miracle of God...so that became Will's little mascot the honey bee. Now that he has transformed and is made whole again in heaven, butterflies have become something that remind me of him. Oh I bet there are butterflies all over heaven like we have never seen.
This is a card I created for Crafter's Companion and I love the butterflies throughout but I was able to make it extra special and sparkle with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens....YUM!!!!
I love the butterfly and the way he is going to take flight and just flitter off the card....
Need a tip? Don't be afraid to blend your colors with the Spectrum Noir Sparkles. You can use a stamp block to blend the colors. It makes for a perfect little palette.

Sunrise Lily is here from Heartfelt Creations!
Rich and regal in appearance, along with a divine fragrant beauty and ornamental trumpet shaped blossom makes the lily flower a well known garden variety and a sure sign that spring has sprung. Heartfelt Creations invites you to prepare to welcome the season of new beginnings, fresh starts and the bursting forth of nature with the new Sunrise Lily Collection. As the title of this assemblage suggests, it is filled with the romantic hues of a beautiful sunrise or sunset...glorious shades of pinks, oranges, and yellows which also reflect the stunning color palette of the lily blossoms as they appear in the gardens themselves. Ravishing shades of greens, creams and whites bring a crispness and a breath of fresh air just as the spring season itself. Patterned papers reveal regal ornamental iron like scroll work, dainty lace elements and lovely vintage like floral details. Beautiful imagery of lily filled vases, pretty flower adorned garden hats and luscious floral bouquets grace varying sized card panels, scrapbook layouts and embellishment tags, and are replicated in five sets of delicately detailed stamp illustrations. The crowning glory to the collection itself is the dimensional lily flower that will add a touch of reality to each of your springtime creations. So, chase away those winter blues brought on by old man winter, combat spring fever by filling your creative space with a touch of splendor as you begin creating with the Sunrise Lily Collection for the upcoming spring and Easter season.
Stop by Heartfelt's Blog today to see complete instructions and how to on this project and many many more.
