Mother's Day is Right Around the Corner

Mother's Day is right around the corner and I can't think of anything better to give her than a handmade gift.  This is a wall plaque that I created using KaiserCraft's new line Charlotte's Dream.  It's an elegant paper, that I really enjoyed working with.
I created the three dimensional flowers using Cheery Lynn Stackables and distress with ink around the edges.  I had to top of the flowers with a KaiserCraft pearl brad...I could bath in those things, one of my favorite products of all times.
The edges of all of the canvases were water and ink distressed to give that heritage feel.

This project qualifies for Cheery Lynn current challenge: Mothers

Fine and Sunny Mini Album with KaiserCraft

So this is one of those projects that I finished and LOVED IT!  As I've told you before in the past many of my projects have to grow on me for a day or two but rarely I'll finish something and think...YEAH!!!  this is one of the projects.  Everything about it, I love.  The handmade flowers are just perfect.  I used Cheery Lynn dies to create the cluster on the front.

The collection is from KaiserCraft called Fine and Sunny.  The stamp set that was included with the collection had banners...one of my many weaknesses.  I so dig banners.  Well, that and tickets.  Can't tell you what the heck my obsession is with them but I think they are so cool so I had to throw some banner action in at the top.

So here are some shots of the rest of the book.

This book qualifies for the current challenge over at Cheery Lynn Dies: Mothers.  Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of my mini book...always curious.

Friday Flair with Unity

I don't know about you but I am so happy it's the weekend.  To kick it off I created this card using Unity Stamps and Cheery Lynn Dies.  I also using a ton of distress ink...what in the world would I do without that stuff.  Love it.

Stay tuned because I have a couple more projects I'll be posting this weekend.

This card qualifies for the Friends with Flair Friend Blog Hop.

Goodbye to Heartfelt Creations

I have been very blessed for the past year to serve on Heartfelt Creations Design team.  They have such beautiful stamps and dies but more than anything they are truly a wonderful family company to work with.  After a year of creative inspiration it's time for me to pass the design team torch onto another artist.  Of course I'll be checking in on Heartfelt's blog and I hope you will to, watching all the new collections and artwork.

This is my last card for Heartfelt and it's from the Bella Rose Collection.  This was one of my favorites during my term.  I think just looking at this card you can understand why.  Please check out the rest of the design team  projects this week and also the announcement of the continuing design team and the new design team members.

Fine and Sunny with KaiserCraft

KaiserCraft's latest collection is Fine and Sunny and it's such a cheery collection.   This is a layout I created of my son from last Easter.  Don't the colors just make you smile.

I love banners,so I had to pop a few on the layout.  KaiserCraft has a coordinating stamp set that has two different banners on it...LOVE IT!!!

Have a great week!!

KaiserCraft Goes Technologic

This is one of KaiserCraft's latest collections "Technologic". I used the collection on a layout I did using pictures from Macy's Christmas Window...believe it or not.  Macy's was my favorite window this Christmas and I thought the collection was perfect.

This is a headband I created using Heartfelt Creations stamps.  I purchased the base headband at Walmart and then took it to a whole new level with my satin flower.

Yeap that is my quickly graying head in the picture, LOL.

If you would like complete instructions on how to make this beautiful Satin burned flower just hop on over to Heartfelt's Blog and take a peak.

KaiserCraft Monthy Challenge

Each week KaiserCraft reveals a new sketch that will help you create a beautiful layout and the best part is you enter it in their monthly sketch challenge.  You could win some of Kaiser's yummy goodies and get some great layouts created at the same time.

Here is my take on one of this month's sketches.

All of my flowers are handmade ...something I love to do.  They are so easy but add so much.

I'm not sure what my addiction is to banners and tickets, but I adore them.  So I was thrilled to see the banner that is included in the Fine and Sunny stamp set from Kaisercraft.

I hope you'll go check out Kaiser's sketches that are revealed every Saturday.  Click Here to go to  Kaiser's  Blog
