Can't Get Enough

I can't stop using the new black eyed susan die from Cheery Lynn...I love it.  I'm not sure if I'm more in love with the flowers or that darn cutie that comes with it and makes every flower, well....perfect.  I really adore the way each die on this card pops all on its own.  The small French lattice is stunning, but so is the flower cluster and then it's all pulled together with the Alison's ribbon.  Cheery Lynn has very intricate dies and I've found the Xyron Creation Station 900 a great tool to use.  I run my die cuts through the machine and then I have a sticker, which makes application super easy.

Puppy Love Layout

Todays layout is featuring Miss Empire from KasierCraft and of course my little monkey.  He adores our dog and honestly our dog is such a good sport for all the pulling, hugging and waggling that gets done to him.  This is just a classic picture of that kind of love.

Here is my take on the first sketch for July with KasierCraft.  I used July's release " Enchanted Garden" and I'm going to tell you this collection is such a must  You know how much I love to scrap pictures of my little boys so feminine collections can be more difficult to work with but I think I pulled this one of perfectly.

My Blessings Card

Today I wanted to share a quick card with you using True Romance a collection released by KasierCraft in June.  I really love sewing on my projects.  I think it add detail to my projects in a very subtle way.  I like for people to look at my work and keep rediscovering little things...and I think sewing can be one of those features.

Life's a Daisy

I've seen cupcakes created for quite some time and I finally broke down and made one for myself, and must say I love it.  The tutorial for the cupcake was inspired from Miranda Edney's . 

You'll need your Scor-Pal for the base of the cupcake and 2 strips of designer paper 2 inches x 9 inches.  Score each of the strips every 1/4 inch and accordion fold.  Attach your two strips to make a circle and you have your base for the cupcake.  You can cover this over a cup for more support if you  need or want.  

For my flowers I used Cheery Lynn's daisy die and colored the base of the flowers with Clear Snaps Donna Salzars Mixed Media Chiffon Ink , leaving the very tips white.  

With a sponge dauber I colored the center of the petals with Donna Salzar's Berry Ink.  Once the flowers are glued together with the layers on each color the tips of the flowers with the Berry Ink too.  

The cupcake is completed by adding leaves and the flowers to the half of a Styrofoam ball with push pins and adding pearls to the center of each flower.

Blast Off with Party Favors

Sometimes it can be hard to find cute little boys paper, but " Blast Off " by KasierCraft is adorable.

This is a candy bar card and it would be so adorable as party favors.  It really didn't take that long to created due to KaiserCrafts collectables making it so easy.

Clustering on a Card

Miss Empire is such a classic collection from KaiserCraft.  Using my Cheery Lynn Dies and my KaiserCraft Collectables from Miss Empire, I was able to created this card in no time.  I love the way this card turned out.
