Live, Love, Laugh with Mr. Fox

Today's card is one that features the " Mr. Fox" Collection from Kaisercraft.  I had to use the view finder collectable somewhere on my card....I so fell in love with it.  I added some die cuts to dress it up a bit and finish everything off with pearls...yeap you know me, pearls.

Xyron and Paper House Blog Hop With Tutorial

Hi Everyone.  Today we are kicking off the PaperHouse and Xyron Design Team Blog Hops.  I've created a tutorial that is simple and fun but will have you making this adorable box in no time.  Ready to see how to upcycle a Laughing Cow Cheese Box...Wow lets start.

Step One

Trace the top of the lid onto your paper (twice).  I'm using the Endless Summer Paper from Paper House.  Cut out your circles.

Step Two

Using the 5" Creative Station run your traced circles through and adhere one to the top of your box and put the other one aside.

Step 3

Sand the box edges and ink for a finished look.

Step Four

Cut 1/2 inch strips (3) and ink the edges.  Run through the 1" Teresa Collins Xyron Sticker Maker and attach to the sides of the box.  You'll do this on the top of the box and also the bottom of the box and will use the third strip to finish off both as 12" won't take it all the way around the box.

Step Five : Cut two strips of 3/4 inch strip, ink and run through the 3" disposable Xyron Create a Sticker

Adhere to Around the inside of the box. Add interior circle we had set aside from step one/ two  to the inside bottom of the box .  Add embellishments to finish off project.

Here is a complete list of Paper House and Xyron projects used to create this piece.  Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams projects for more great tutorials, tips and inspiration all week long.

Xyron and Out on a Limb Blog Hop

Hi Everyone.  This week Xyron has teamed up with Out On A Limb Scrapbook pages to create some great projects for you. Be sure to head over to Xyron's Blog for tons more inspiration from the rest of the team.  Want even more, you can find more OOAL inspiration on their Facebook Page.

I thought it would be fun to show two cards you could create with the Scrapbook Page kit.  You really get a lot of bang for your buck with these kits.

The kit I used was Magic Memories.   I still have lots of goodies left over from the kit to use on future projects, but here are two card I made with some of the card stock and die cuts.  So much fun!!!

Look at how the balloons are ready to float off the page with the foam tape squares from the Teresa Collins Xyron Kit.  I also ran the borders through using the special 1" sticker maker that comes in the Teresa Collins Xyron Glue Kit

Here is a complete list of all the Xyron glue products that helped me pull these cards together.

You Are My Happiness Layout with Storyteller

OK, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this...granted the newest paper collection from KaiserCraft " Storyteller " is beautiful but the star of this layout is the beautiful little princess that graces it.  Isn't she just the most precious little thing.  Thank you to my friend Amy for letting me use her adorable pictures of her.

I really like the way I girled it up with the ruffles of paper in the bottom right had corner.  Just adds a layer of elegance.

Paper Smooches meets Xyron

This week has been so much fun as Xyron and Paper Smooches joined forces to show some beautiful creative projects.

I thought I would create a gift box adorned with an adorable monkey from the Smoocheroos Stamp Set. I colored the monkey and then popped him up with some foam tape made with my Creative Station.

The top is adorned with a handmade festive flower...it added that extra little pop that was needed.

Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams projects for the week.....they're sure to spark your creative juices.   Here's a recipe of the products used and links to where you can get yours.
