Fancy Folds with the Downton Abbey Papercrafting Collection

Do you love fancy fold cards as I do?  Then the Downton Abbey Papercrafting Collection CD's are something that you really should invest in.  They are chocked full of crafts ideas, papers, images and tutorials including this adorable three panel easel card.  This is all from the Downton Abbey Papercrafting Collection that is currently available on HSN from Crafter's Companion.

Need a Tip?  When you have diecuts with embossing on them,  to really make them come to life, ink the die cut with a contrasting color before you remove the die.  This will really accent all those fine details of your image.

Downton Abbey Papercrafting Collection is almost here!!!!

I've been so excited about this collection as I know you are going to fall in love with it, just as I have.  We all have been huge fans of Downton Abbey and all the elegance that it brings...now you can bring that same elegance into your crafting with the Downton Abbey Papercrafting Collection.  These items will be debuting exclusively on HSN next Tuesday and you are not going to want to miss it.  Let me just say, be prepared to want it all.  It's a fabulous collection.

Need a Tip?  Be sure to ink the edges of all your dies cuts and paper pieces...this will really make them stand out when you are layering multiple layers.

Another Peek at the Edge'ables from Crafter's Companion

I wanted to show you this bifold card I made with another set from the Edge'ables Fancy Christmas collection from Crafter's Companion.  The stars across the top were so easy to add and they really make this card fancy.  I love the ease of these dies.

Be sure to continue to hop back in to my blog as we have so many new releases coming up in the next few days.

Violet Crush Fancy Fold

I always like to create fancy fold cards.  First they are super simple ( most of the time ) but they add such a pop to cards.  It can really dress up your project with just a bit more effort.

Today's card is one that I used the Violet Crush collection from KaiserCraft.  The purple hues are really trending right now, so it's a great collection to get your hands on.

Here is what I looks like when you unfold it.  Can't you just imagine the recipient displaying it all folded out.  I can and that makes me want to do fancy fold cards more and more.  I want people to enjoy my cards and continue to enjoy them and this is a great way to do that.

I'll see you next week...Have a great weekend and
 Happy Crafting.

Be the Best ....YOU!!! Fancy Fold Card

I so love the " Base Coat III Collection from KaiserCraft.  To me it lends itself to mixed media so well.  This is a fancy fold card I created and honestly I wish the pictures showed the fold a bit better.  Gotta love that flash of turquoise, which I'm finding is one of my new favorite colors.  Perfect for this autumn weather we coming into to.

I'll see you on Friday with some more great inspirational work....have a crafty hump day!!!!

Merry Christmas Pop Up Card

I bet you thought I forgot about you guys out in blog land....Oops I really didn't but I just go busy creating so many projects this weekend to share that I did forget to create a post.  So even though it's a bit late here ya go.

This is a pop up card I created for KaiserCraft's Design Team using their Christmas Collection " Saint Nicholas".  I love Kaiser's vintage collections and this one is the ultimate in vintage.

Many of the features on this card have been fussy cut from the paper, like the boy and girl and even the leaves and berries.  It takes a little bit of time, but the effect is just stunning.
