Hunt & Gather Letter Rack

The colors in KaiserCraft's Hunt and Gather couldn't go anymore perfect in my living room. I knew when I started making it, that it would hang right by the front door..and that's where it is now.  I love the Beyond The Page projects from Kaiser.  They are so sturdy and easy to put together and I love how you can decorate them and create so many various looks.

I painted the base with plain paint and then rub it down with Inka Gold in highlighting areas.  The delicate vine that I used throughout the project is a die from Cheery Lynn.  Love it!!!

You know I had to nestle some pearls in the clusters here and there. Wouldn't be one of my projects with some form of pearl on it, LOL.

I hope everybody has a great long weekend and enjoy the Labor Day holiday.

Tear Bear? Elephant

Happy September Everybody...can you believe it's already here? Wow does time fly. With it being the start of the month a new Beary Scrap  challenge is here. Our newest challenge is a sketch and you'll love your finished project with it for sure. Be sure to hop on over to the blog to check it out and submit your entry.

This week I wanted to give the Tear Bears a shot. Granted I'm not Patricia who so totally rocks out Tear Bears, but I think I did a good job with my little Elephant. I used the Springtime Echo Park paper wanting that last little bit of poppy colors before the fall colors move in.

Look forward to seeing you next week and remember to join in our new challenge and you might just win...

Hi Everyone, welcome to Heartfelt Wednesday.  I was so lucky last week to be able to get to work for Heartfelt at a scrapbook show.  I had so much fun running the make and take table. It was so nice to be able to actually meet Emma Lou from Heartfelt, who I work for on the design team.  Granted with emails and all you feel like you know someone, but it's just never the same as face to face.

This week I am highlighting the Hydrangea Stamp set.  I've wanted to use this stamp since I got it and just didn't have a chance until now.  The background paper was created using a word stamp all over.  Doesn't it look so trendy.  I love it.

Be sure to hop on over to the other design team members blogs and see what beauties they have to inspire you with.

Easel Love Card

Good Morning and I hope the start of your week is going great.  Today I wanted to share with you an easel card I made.  The collection is from KaiserCraft Miss Nelly and you know how much I love the colors in this set...happy, happy, happy.

The front of the card is adorned with handmade flowers using Cheery Lynn Dies.  The petals were all spritzed with water, crushed and then left to dry.  Once layered they really are full and beautiful.

The interior of the card is much more simple...so of course it will close.  The liquid pearls help tie in to the pearl brads on the front.

I always think easel cards are so pretty, but I especially liked created it in the circle shape...just little different.

Have a great week and I'll see you Wednesday.

Hugs,
