It's a Perfect Partner with Crafters Companion

I love this sweet shallow spring box that I created with Crafter's Companion and the Sheena's Perfect Partner Sweet William.  Of course I'm a softie to anything called Sweet William and this stamp and matching die set is just stunning.  I love everything about it.

TIP: You can use the Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens either straight on the paper for a more intense color or you can place some of their ink on a palette and water them down for a more subtle coloring.  They are so versatile for your shading.

Sara Davies is coming to HSN March 16 with so many goodies you won't believe it....HERE"S A SNEAK PEEK!!!

Here's a picture of the box open so you can see how shallow it is and it's ready to hold a love note, pictures or small little keepsakes.

Need to know what I used on this project?  Here's a complete list of Crafters Companion goodies used:

Spectrum Noir Sparkle: Cosmos, Holly Leaf, Olive, Jade, Amethyst and Pink Garnet, Friendship Sentiments Stamp, Sheena Perfect Partner Victorian Floral Metal Die: Sweet William Die and Stamp set, Gemini Set 3 Metal Die Pack, Ultimate Tool, Die'sire Decorative Dies: Square Doilies

Let's go down to the fishing hole with Heartfelt Creations

I'm continuing to love working with the Winking Frog Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  One of the things I adore about it is it's so versatile for everyone...you have the cute and whimsy of the frogs and dragonflies but then you have that Heartfelt Creations elegance with the water lilies...it's just so much fun to work with.

I colored this image with the new Spectrum Noir watercolor pencils from Crafters Companion and I love the way I was able to blend the little frog and shade.

Be sure to see more beautiful inspirations from the rest of the Heartfelt Creations design team on the blog today.

Altered Shadow Box : Raining Cats and Dogs Graphic 45

Today over on Graphic 45's blog you'll be able to check out various uses for the staple shadow boxes.  I really dressed mine up by mounting it on a candlestick base and painting the whole thing to flow together.   Lots of layers and the color combo make for one cute decorative piece.
