Discover Layout with Graphic 45

HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING MONTH!!!!

Sigh.  Sometimes I wish I could turn back time even though I adore my son being 10 years old now and all the questions and funny things he'll say.  Still there is something so sweet about those toddler years and the time of discovery for a little peep.  I  created this layout with some pictures I had of my boy from that time people and I used the latest collection from Graphic 45 " Voyage Beneath the Sea.  Who wouldn't love the colors in this color much less the theme.. it's just so trendy right now.

What a Poppy Layout!!!

Can you believe I paired this beautiful poppy collection from Heartfelt Creations with a picture of my little completely covered in mud, lol.  Somehow they seemed to blend to me.  I love this picture as the boys are just nothing but mud but my son looks so angelic and innocent in the middle of it all...as if he was, LOL. 

The flower clusters were fussy cut from the Blazing Poppy collection, and though it took a little time I think the end result was worth it.  Be sure to head over to Heartfelt Creations blog today and see all the amazing projects by the design team. 

So Sweet with Precious Memories by Graphic 45

One of the collections that Graphic 45 is releasing at CHA is Precious Memories and precious it is.  This is a layout I created of my youngest son who isn't quite so little anymore...oh if only we could make them stay little....sigh. 

Of course Graphic 45 has given that vintage touch to this collection as they do with all their products.  The color palette is one that will work with little boys or little girls and they have some papers for each.

The Little Things Layout

This collection is one that compliments the greens of March for sure...Limelight from Kaisercraft is the latest collection for the month.  Butterflies, birds, flowers and time pieces make for a great eclectic mix. 

This picture is one that I was able to capture at Disney's Wild Kingdom.  That is such a great park if you've never been.  I loved it.  I could have take the safari ride all day long...over and over...well you get the idea LOL.

Raindrops On Roses with a Layout

This is a layout I created for Heartfelt Creations using the February release Raindrops on Roses.  Of course you know I have my youngest gracing the middle of the layout.  Boys or no boys there will still be flowers on my layouts, LOL. 

 

Heartfelt Creations make it very easy to arrange layouts with their designer paper.  The paper has such exquisite designs already colored that honestly you can about pop on a picture and go.  The fun is going to come when you get to create some beautiful flower clusters and add them on, or some patterned paper.  Well the point is you can add to and make it pop or you can use the base paper and honestly it will pop too.  Easy Peasy for all levels.

Everyday Moments Layout with KaiserCraft

I love this layout, this picture, really everything about this piece.  The collection I used is from KaiserCraft and I adore it...."Art of Life".  The colors make it that it just goes with everything, but I really think the sepia toned picture makes it PERFECT!!!!!!

The flowers are handmade using some of the designer paper.  I love the way they turned out and the center of the flowers are actually some of KaiserCrafts collectables that I domed with McGill's paper tools and adhered with foam tape.

Laugh Kaisercraft Layout

With the holidays coming up next week the month is almost over...YIKES!!!! Where did 2013 go?  I can't think of a better way to show out the year than by winning KaiserCrafts monthly sketch challenge....

This is my take on one of our sketches this month for KasierCraft.  Sketches can really jump start your creative mojo and a great way top win some extra product.  Be sure to hop on over to KaiserCraft's Blog and see all the sketches so far this month and join in our fun...and best of luck.

Sparkle Me This

I thought I would wrap up the week with a layout I created for KaiserCraft using the Tea Break Collection.  I had this picture of the flamingos from the Animal Kingdom Disney Park and somehow they just seemed perfect for this collection.  Let me tell you, you might not be able to see it really good from the picture but man this layout twinkles.  I've added glitter to the flowers, leaves and also the fountain.  It's really pretty and sparkly.

Life is? Layout

This layout was designed for KaiserCraft and one of their November Sketch Challenges.  Sometimes challenges are a great way to spark your creativity.  You have an outline to follow but still get to get those juices flowing.  Plus sometimes you might just win and lots of companies have prizes, like KaiserCraft.  They actually give a whole collection away that is valued at over $75, so it's fun and it can really bulk up your supplies.  Be sure to check out challenges, they're a lot of fun.

The Beauty of Heartfelt Creations

Today I'm thrilled to share a layout I created for Heartfelt Creations and I've fallen in love with this project.  I really love the way my handmade flowers blended with the fussy cut matching paper.  What a great clustering it made.  Please see below for a complete recipe and instructions.

rub on numbers
Xyron foam glue tabs


Project Instructions:
Wet edges of designer paper with water and distress edges, back with darker color designer paper.  Fussy cut flower banner from designer paper and put aside for later.  Cut four corner dies backed up together creating a doily.  Glue to layout base with dries clear glue.  Stamp Love sentiment in top right corner of the base layout.  Glue picture down with foam tape and edge the bottom of the picture with the fussy cut banner/border mounted on high foam tape.  Stamp, emboss and cut Sun Kissed Fleur.  Ink from center of flower outward lightening the ink to the edges for a variegated color. Add Gala Glitz to the center of each of the flowers. Curl flower petals with tweezers.  Create 12 varying sizes of flowers as just described.  Stamp aster leaf and cut, once cut ink edges with darker green ink and curl edges of leaves. Arrange as shown throughout the cluster of flowers.  Fussy cut flower label from paper and add rub on numbers/year.  Attach with foam tape to complete the layout. 

Go Find Alice

I adore the latest collection from KaiserCraft " Through the Looking Glass ".  I just happened to have a picture of my youngest with Alice at Disneyworld and the colors were perfect with the combo on the paper collection. 

Both of the tags on the sides of the pictures hold hidden journaling.  I love to add hidden things to my work.  Something about it makes it so personal and special.

Lady Rose Layout

This is such a great picture of my little one and my sister, I love it.  So I had to feature it on a layout.  This paper collection is from KaiserCraft " Lady Rose" .   It's beautiful graced with all the roses.  Here are several close ups for you to check out.

Christmas Gift Layout

 

Oh my do I love my little man.  He's all dressed up, showing off his Christmas gift he received.  How adorable is that.  This layout features the Saint Nicholas Christmas collection from KaiserCraft. I doctored my picture so it would give a bit more of a vintage feel to it, to blend with the paper. 

 

Again a lot of fussy cutting was done on this layout to feature some of the stunning pictures on the paper.  Yum.  Have a great weekend and I'll see you next week. 

 

A Christmas Carol Layout

Today I have another layout I created for KaiserCraft with one of their many Christmas collections " Christmas Carol " .  This was my youngest son and I last year at Grove Park when we went to go see the Gingerbread Houses with this class.  We had such a fun day.  The tree that we took this picture in front of was huge....gotta love large, LOL.

Beauty Layout

I love, love, love the latest collection from KaiserCraft, Curiosity.  It really is stunning.  I love the colors and the combination of themes with the collection and I'm sure you'll agree.

Beauty and Joy Layout

Today I have a layout I created for KasierCraft using the True Romance collection.  It's such a girlie line I couldn't help but use a picture of my favorite girl, my sister.

Puppy Love Layout

Todays layout is featuring Miss Empire from KasierCraft and of course my little monkey.  He adores our dog and honestly our dog is such a good sport for all the pulling, hugging and waggling that gets done to him.  This is just a classic picture of that kind of love. 

Today, Tomorrow, Always

Here is my take on the first sketch for July with KasierCraft.  I used July's release " Enchanted Garden" and I'm going to tell you this collection is such a must  You know how much I love to scrap pictures of my little boys so feminine collections can be more difficult to work with but I think I pulled this one of perfectly.

Summer Friends

I don't know about you, but I'm thrilled for summer to be here.  KasierCraft's release " Summer Breeze" is the perfect collection to highlight the season. 

KasierCraft's collectables make layering so easy.  Look out the detail work I accomplished on this layout using the collectables...easy peasy.
