Come on Spring with Heartfelt Creations

Well I don't know where you are but here in the South we have been snowed/iced under all week and I can say it's making me itch for some spring weather.  Thank goodness I can get a little taste of spring with the Butterfly Medley collection from Heartfelt Creations

Todays card focuses around the seed packets and of course the flowers...heck flowers, flowers and flowers...that's what it's all about.

Did you know that you can catch tutorials with Heartfelt Creations on Friday blog post.  It's a great way to learn something new.

Happy Crafting this weekend and I'll see you next week.

Wake Up Sleepy Head with Graphic 45

OK so maybe this clock wouldn't really wake you up but it sure would be nice to wake up to...it's so beautiful.  I have a confession with this piece, I've had this alarm clock that I bought at Hobby Lobby a year or two ago and have been hoarding it...I know shame, shame.  The really funny part about this is it was a working alarm clock...I waiting so long that now some craft companies actually sell shells of alarm clock cheaper than what I paid and ready to use/ verses me having to destroy and paint, LOL.  That just goes to show sometimes it's not such a great idea to hoard things away.

I used the beautiful new collection Artisans Style from Graphic 45 to adorn my clock and I just love the colors and the motifs...stunning.

Take a closer look at my work.

Baby Love with Hampton Art and Graphic 45

I think there is a baby theme on my blog as of late...I better not be drinking the water, LOL.  Graphic 45 and Hampton Art both released baby themed products for CHA so the two of them always pair up so nicely and I did just that on this card.

The baby was fussy cut out and added to the card with foam tape to give some dimension.  The banner was stamped and cut out and the sentiment in the middle was stamped with blue ink for a perfect blending.  I also stamped little flowers and baby feet on the background paper.  Granted it was already detailed but I thought the darker stamped blue gave a little more layering.
