I love the way Heartfelt Creations collections are just...well....elegant.  You can create a card in no time that just drips of beauty.  The bleeding hearts in the Romantique Garden collection are just stunning.  My bleeding heart flourish at the bottom of the card was created by stamping and paper piecing, and It just gave such a great finish to the card.

It's that time of the Year with Graphic 45

I thought we would usher in the holiday season with this layout I created for Graphic 45 using the Twas the Night Before Christmas paper collection.  I love all the layering that I created with the fussy cut items from the collection like the clocks and the holly leaves as example.  Everything just goes so well together including the picture of my little man when he was three years old.  Love those old pictures...SIGH.

Please be sure to go to the Graphic 45 blog today and check out Donna's post making a beautiful handmade gift with a tutorial.

By the Way did you hear that Graphic 45 is doing 26 days of tutorials....OH MY!!! be sure to check them out each day until Christmas.

Raining Cats and Dogs ...but that's a good thing.

I'm so lucky to have my pooch, he's part of the family.  This is a frame that was supposed to house a picture of my dog, but darn I was loving all embellishments that match this line, I used up the whole frame, LOL.  Looks like I'll have to create another one to actually be graced with a picture of " MY DOG".

Be sure to check out my team mate Keri's adorable photo wallet that show another way to use this collection.  You can check it out on Graphic 45's Blog.

Remember McGuffy Reader???

Today's card is one I created for Hampton Art and it reminds me of the old McGuffy Reader.  Do you remember one of those???  The JillyBean paper was randomly stamped with one of Graphic 45's typography stamps and I love the way the finished background paper turned out.

The denim banner, sewn with the tickets give a lot of dimension to the card along with the fussy cut stack of books.  It's such a great vintage look and everything I used on this card you can find with Hampton Art.

I'll see you on Wednesday with a Graphic 45 project that you'll fall in love with for sure.

Core'dinations and Graphic 45 Go Hand in Hand

This week Graphic 45 and Core'dinations are teaming up to show you how well they work together.  Did you know that Core'dinations make paper pads that coordinate with Graphic 45's color palettes?  Yeap there is a light and a dark and they are wonderful to use with any of the Graphic 45 Collections.

Today I've created a card using the Bride 2 Baby Graphic 45 collection.   The Core'dinations Card Stock was embossed and then sanded to create the swirling background.  Have you ever used the sand block from Core'dinations?  It's a must have tool.

Here is a close up of the front of the card. Of course all of Graphic 45's matching stickers and cardstock making layering and dimension easy peasy

This is an interior picture of the card.  I always say make it pretty on the inside as well as the out.

Want to win some goodies???  Be sure to join in the fun below

Please be sure to head over to Graphic 45's Blog and Core'dinations to catch more design team members sharing their creativity.

Pillow Box Transformed into a Mini Bag with Graphic 45 #G45GiftHowTos?

Pillow boxes are fun and are great for giving small little trinket gifts.  I thought it would be fun to alter a pillow box into a mini gift bag and it’s super easy to do.  Be sure to watch my Snapguide tutorial to learn how to make your own using a template from the Graphic 45 8 x8  paper pads.

I created a matching card to go with the gift bag.  I’m one of those people that would like to think friends and family keep the cards I make, but you can never be too sure.  I think making the cards into easel cards makes them more of a miniature work of art and someone is much more likely to display it and keep it out verses the dreaded trash can…lol.  So I make a lot of easel cards.

The mini bag and easel card really make an adorable pairing and one that I’m sure you’ll want to try out in your favorite Graphic 45 paper collection.

Now be sure not to a miss a single tutorial this week on Bags with Graphic 45...so hop over to their blog and see what else you can create.   #G45GiftHowTos?

Sympathy Card with Graphic 45 and Botanical Tea

This collection (Graphic 45 Botancial Garden)  is so beautiful with all the birds, butterflies and flowers. I had to make a sympathy
card for a friend of mine and I couldn’t think of a better collection to use. It’s so soft and uplifting
in and of itself I just knew she would love it. I used one of the Susan’s Garden’s Dies from Sizzix to
create the Yarrow flower on the front and it really makes the card jump to life, along with the fussy
cut butterflies that are ready to flitter off the front.

Be sure to head over to Graphic 45's blog today and see what my teamie Annette has created for you too...her work is always stunning.

and here's the interior of the card

Heard Your Gears were Stripped with Heartfelt Creations

My background is in jewelry design so one of the things I love the most about this collection is the die to create chain links...OMWord.  Each of the links we covered with pewter embossing powder.  Where ever there was a cut to link them together I made sure the embossing powder covered it so when heated it welded the cut.

Please be sure to go to Heartfelt Creations blog and see other creations from the rest of the design team along with supply list and complete directions for each project.  It's a great source of inspiration.

BEWARE...With Graphic 45 and An Eerie Tale

I love Halloween, honestly it's one of my favorite holidays and I'm not sure why.  I love the Eerie side, not the gore and blood and such just the vintage creepy.  Graphic 45's Eerie Tale is just that.  I love all the layers of this card and all the small details, look in any nook or cranky and you'll find another little aspect.

Be sure to see other projects and complete supply list on the Graphic 45's blog.
