Get Your Scary On

I have to admit I love Halloween.  I'm not sure why but I do, so I loved making this eerie card for Cheery Lynn Designs.  I thought the steampunk pocket watch die fit in perfect with the spider web border and even the little bird die that I tried to make look like a raven.   Of course, since it was one of my cards, I had to throw some flowers in.  Yeap flowers and creepy, LOL. Hope this will inspire you to start your spooky cards for the fall season.

Here is a list of all the dies used on this card.

See you next week,

Customized Birthday Wishes

This is a birthday card I made for my sweet grandmother.  She didn't even notice at first that it was made especially for her with her birthday highlighted on the front.  To me the card had a steampunk retro elegant feel...it's not sure what it wants to be, LOL.  The paper collection is from KaiserCraft " Top Note" and the dies are Cheery Lynn Designs.

Jolly Ole Saint Nicholas

I always love the vintage Christmas collections that I think KaiserCraft has become known for.  This years collection is called St. Nicholas and it's just beautiful.

I created this adorable shadow box with a handmade mini album that is stored in it.  Many of the detailed paper pictures were fussy cut and attached with foam tape.

I discovered this wonderful little tip for foam tape....purchase a piece of foam sheet at your local craft store and then run through a Xyron Creation Station machine.  You have handmade foam tape in no time and then you can use away just the way I do.

Here are numerous pictures of my project to give you a good idea of the piece.

The handmade flower centered at the top is made from Cheery Lynn Dies.  I always love their stunning flowers.
