Savy Oh Baby

I adore these pictures of my friends little grand baby...SAVY!  Isn't she just edible.  Having two little boys myself I was so tickled with Savy was born as I knew I would get to scrap one beautiful little baby girl.

I used Simple Stories papers for this 12 x 12 layout and also Unity Stamps.

This project qualifies for the following challenges:

Tiny Woods with KaiserCraft

Tiny Woods is such a happy collection from KaiserCraft.  All the little animals and fun colors...love it.  This is a 5 x 7 card I created using the newest collection.  I adore banners and one of Unity's stamp set help me create this adorable one for this card.

The stamped deer was heat embossed and WOW does that make him pop.

Be sure to check out the Friends with Flair Friday blog...it' always fun and I"ll be entering this card in the challenge.

Oh Baby

I don't know about you but I'm so happy it's the start of the weekend today.  To kick off your creative juices for the weekend I've made this adorable BABY card using Scrapping Cottage dies.  The lamb is actually from their Easter collection but it's perfect for baby cards too.

He was so easy to create with the die...I cut and then lightly inked the edges with some distress ink ..THAT WAS IT and look how adorable he is.

Here is a complete list of dies and products used for this card:

Love Birds

It's the perfect season for cards filled with love and sweet wishes. With out Scrapping Cottage's new Valentine collection cards are easy peasy. This card was created using the Whimsey Bird and Cage die. Granted it's great for Valentines but the best part about this die is you really can use it anytime for any occasion. The sentiment (from Unity) is stamped on the Airplane with Banner and Sign another one that I use over and over.

I hope you have had a chance to participate in Scrapping Cottage's  current challenge....just create a layout and use one of their dies and you might just win a prize. Here's the link to our current challenge.

Scrapbook Your Recipes

It's great to scrapbook those cherished pictures...but have you ever thought of scrapping cherished recipes?  This is a 8 x 8 layout I did for one of my summer favorites, Strawberry Pie.  Majority of what you first see is the ingredients, but the mini book on the side has step by step directions for making the pie.

I used embossed unity stamps to add some flair and the perfect finish for my page was the crocheted strawberries from the new Creative Charms Kit of the month.  I hope you'll try to scrap something other than just pictures this week.  There are so many possibilities out there.

10 Things I Love ....

This was actually a challenge for me to do a layout page about myself.  I love to scrapbook my boys and family but to sit down and do a layout about me...that was hard.

I used Echo Park's paper and Unity Stamps that coordinate with the Echo Park line.  I also used Tim Holtz's bird cage die cut...by the way if you love Tim Holtz you should check out the sale Joann's is having on his metal embellishments...below wholesale.  I ordered way to much last night, but boy will it be fun when that order comes in. I also used some yummy sequin ribbon and chipboard from Maya Road and the pretty numbers are from Pink Paislee.

So today I'm bit and determined to get some more scrapping done as I've been really lazy over the holidays and I need to feel my days off amounted to something...

I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year and I'll see you next year.
