Heidi Swapp and Xyron for the Holidays

Today Xyron and Heidi Swapp have paired up for a great blog hop show cases some of their fabulous products.  I loved the way the Heidi Swapp products were neutral and I got to add the color and glitz to make my ornament what I wanted it to be.  I figured this would be wonderful on package for Christmas and then the receiver could use the ornament for years to come.  I love gifts like that, don't you?  Please be sure to see below all the products I used and links so you can stock up and create one of these beauties for yourself.

Other Products Used: Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder, Ink, Liquid Pearls, Sewing Machine and Smooch

My Wish for You Layout with Heartfelt Creations

I don't think I could have wished a better picture to match the Floral Key Collection than this one of my little man at the Botanical Gardens.  I made handmade flowers that adorn the sides of the picture along with the keys and heart from the Heartfelt Collection too.  It really all came together wonderfully.  See below for step by step directions and a supply list for this projects.  Also be sure to stop by Heartfelt Creations blog today and see all the other beautiful creations by the rest of the design team.

Punch edge of designer paper with punch and mount with zip dry glue on designer card stock base.  Mount picture in the middle of your designer paper.  Cut circle out from designer paper using Spellbinders die and mount on the left side of the picture. Fussy cut tag and memo tag from paper and mount on the left side of picture.  Write your journaling on the tag as shown.

Flowers: Stamp 25-30 petals of Tattered Blooms on white card stock.  Cut out with matching dies.  Ink middle of the blooms stroking outward to the end of the petals to give a variegation in color.  Bend, twist and fold the petals to give a realistic look.  Color the edge of the petals with dries clear glue and cover with glitter.  Stack petals to form eight flowers.  Finish each of the flowers with bling/rhinestones.

Stamp and cut leaves with white card stock.  Color edges darker with green ink and work inward leaving a lighter shade in the middle of the leaves.  Again fold and bend leaves to give dimension.  Arrange your flowers and leaves in clusters as shown.

Stamp and cut two key out using the Burnished Key Die and Burnished Key Stamp. Tie twine around one of the keys and arrange the two keys in your flower clusters as shown.

Stamp Lock Heart on designer paper and cut out using the Timeless Armor die.  Color in the flourishes of the stamp with a marker. Take the die cut lace border and flip it for the backside of the paper to encase your heart.  Draw a thin line around the base heart and the key hold using the dries clear glue and coat with glitter.  Nestle the heart in the cluster using dimensional tape to finish the layout.

A Gift for Faith

I made this for a sweet little friend of mine...Faith.  She just turned 12 so I thought she might like this plaque for her room.  I created this with the paper collection " Tea Break" from KaiserCraft.  I also had a ton of help from Stencil Girl stencils....Love the way the finish came out with them.  You can see a closer view in the picture below.  Awesome texture.

Of course, I had to add in some of my handmade flowers.  I created them with designer paper, ink them up with some pigment ink and then topped them off with a button and sparklet.  Overall I think it turned out really pretty with a lot of little details going on .
