Christmas Already?

The temperature is starting to drop outside, stores ares stocking fall decorations and Christmas is right around the corner.  The month over at KaiserCraft we are featuring our new holiday lines, December 25th and Silly Season.  This is a layout I did of my mother and I using the Dec 25th collection.

This is my favorite of theirs for the season as I just adore the traditional feel and the antique vibe...just up my alley. I also had to add one handmade flowers, of course.  This one was a bit different...I'm in to exploring all kinds of various handmade flowers right now if you couldn't tell.

Don't you just love the rich colors from this line....it's just down right yummy.
Have a great weekend and I'll see you next week.

Girly Card? Not

This week over at Beary Scraps our sketch challenge continues.  The design team wanted to take a twist with the sketch this week and wanted to make non-girly cards.  For me this really was a challenge when it came right down to it...I adore pearls and handmade flowers...so what the heck.

Here is my impression of a non-girly card...I still had to add some bling and a handmade flower, but tried to make it not quite so feminine.

How Many Dies Can You Use?

Scrapping Cottage has just released their Halloween collection and it's adorable.  I started making this mini book and planned for it to be just a couple of dies, but the more I did, the more I wanted to do.  I ended up using eight dies by the time it was over and had such a blast.  Below are all the pictures of the interior pages and a couple close up, plus a recipe with all the dies used.

The paper is from My Little ShoeBox and it was the perfect match for the Halloween die....so stinkin cute.
