Happy Birthday Dear Friend

A sweet friend of mine was having a birthday this week and when I went to my card stash, I realized ...I didn't have a good birthday card.  Really?  Of all the cards I do I really don't make birthday cards that much.  Honestly I think I do more sentiments that I have no idea who I would send them to or why? LOL.  Might be something I need to work on a bit.

I created this easel card using Spellbinders Dies, Justrite Stamps, Close to My Heart Stamps and of course some yummy Pion Paper.

I love the way this flower turned out on this card.  I created this for Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps and used their Hibiscus die and matching stamp set.

The center of the flower was created using a strip of paper, cutting a fringe edge, inking it and then rolling it up.  I think it almost has a wood look to it....love it.
