Happy Easter with Graphic 45

Happy Easter!  Today is a day that welcomes new beginnings in so many ways.  For me it's the day that Christ rose from the grave to give each of us a new birth in his love.  It's also a day to celebrate spring, flowers blooming, new growth coming out and new little babies in nature being born...it's just a lovely time of year and day to celebrate.

Today I'm sharing a card duo I created for Graphic 45 that celebrates the springtime season.  The cards use the Sweet Sentiments collection and I think you can see though they coordinate, you can also get very different looks from one collection.

Please see all the different pictures of the card duo below and also be sure to head over to the Graphic 45 blog and see Donna's beautiful egg decorations...you'll be in awe!!!  Happy Easter to everyone and I hope you all have a beautiful day.

Believe with Heartfelt Creations

As we start to go into Easter Weekend this card just seemed appropriate.   It really sums up my life where I am today "Believe".  I believe there is a purpose and a plan for everything  and it all leads up to my life as God has it mapped out.  Sometimes we don't understand it at all but that doesn't mean it's not working for the greater good.  I hope everyone has a blessed Easter holiday and that you will take a moment to remember what the true meaning is.

I used Heartfelt Creations stamps to complete this card and some of my yummy KaiserCraft paper.  Of course I also threw in some die cuts using Spellbinders.  Honestly is it possible for me to make a card without using Spellbinders?   I think not, LOL.

Have a great Weekend and I'll see you all soon!

Sweet Treat for Easter

Who doesn't like a little sweet treat, especially on Easter. I created a lollipop cover using CottageCutz Easter Basket Bunny by ScrappingCottage. These covers are so much fun to make and the Easter Bunny really makes it stand out. The matching Peachy Keen stamp set that comes with the die, creates a precious face.
Now to go make 23 more of these for my son's class.

I have enjoyed being on ScrappingCottage / CottageCutz and will miss their team, but look foward to seeing all the beautiful projects the future DT will create.

Thank you for Easter

This month at ABC DT our challenge is Easter cards and as much as I love bunnies and chicks...they aren't the real meaning of Easter for me.  I'm so thankful for the love my savior showed me by giving his life.  Amazing!!! Everyday I strive to show the love and sweet spirit that Christ examples...and though I have so much work to do, I hope people will see a glimpse of  him in me.

This is a card I did for the monthly Easter challenge and I created the cross with a bunch of stamped and cut butterflies...The butterfly stamp is from Crafty Secrets Arts Stamps Sew Special  and just like all of Crafty Secrets stamps, they are so detailed and beautiful.  The sentiment is Crafty Secrets Rose Flowers.  I love the sentiment but you should see the flower that comes with this set, beautiful.  Of course, I used Spellbinders to cut the oval backgrounds and also the rectangle for the sentiment.

I hope you have a wonderful week and take a moment to show someone a little extra love.  Oh and be sure to join in our Easter Challenge during the month of April.

Hugs
