A Boy and His Dog

I love this layout...everything about it.   The colors, the paper, the flowers and of course the little boy!
I created the flowers using Heartfelt Botanical Flower Stamps...I'm addicted to this stamp set lately.  Beautiful!.

The paper line is from Webster's Pages... aren't they adorable.

Can't wait to show you more goodies next...so until then, have a great weekend.

Bingo Box

Happy Thursday everyone! Beary Scraps bingo challenge is still going on so this week I picked Distress, Glitter and Lace. The base for my box uses Echo Parks newest collection Victoria Gardens. I adore the versatility of the sheet music paper...perfect for this project.

The distressing was done several ways...first I inked the edges of the box with Distress Ink...then I stamped the leaves with Distress Crackle Paint. After the paint was dried I re stamped with Memento Ink.

The flowers are from Prima and I added Stickles Glitter to the edges for a little extra pop.

Finally for the lace, I created the lace handmade flower. It was so easy. I just took a scrap piece of lace and formed it into a circle and applied it to some Scor-Pal Tape...have to say if you want strong tape, goods lands it's great.

So that wraps up my Bingo Box....It's ready to pop a gift card or a small trinket inside and pass it along to a friend.

Be sure to check back this weekend as I have a great layout to share.

When I first looked at the Popcorn/ Cotton Candy Die from Scrapping Cottage all I could see the cotton candy as was a banner. I thought how cute that would be. So I started making the banner and realized this is going to be to big for a card...gonna have to make a layout with it. Once I got into it I also realized how influenced I was being by the current book I'm reading " Water For Elephants". I have to tell you I'm really enjoying this book and can't wait to see the DVD next month. It's about a circus during the depression...so I think you can see the retro circus feel.

Once I had settled on a theme and really started putting everything together it just flowed. The Graphic 45 circus paper along with a vintage photo of a turn of the century circus troop...it was all just perfect.

I used the Ticket Booth flourishes for corner flourishes on the green cardstock and also the scallop is from the Ticket Booth. I always think it's fun to look at the dies and see what all you and create beside the obvious. I enjoyed doing this layout just for fun...it wasn't a family picture, or anything important to document...it was just FUN!!!

A Day At the Dunes

I wanted to share one of my layouts from KaiserCraft Hunt and Gather collection.  This is a picture that was taken years ago of my oldest son and I and it's one of my favorites.  He can be hard to get good pictures of and this was one day that we got shot after shot of great photos.

The colors of the photos blended perfectly with the Hunt and Gather collection...and don't you just love that lobster I added to the tag...so cool.
