Best Day with Sketch Challenge

This is just one of those fun layouts.  The picture the paper, everything.  It's from the very latest collection from KaiserCraft, Hopscotch.   Talk about a modern fun line, it really is.

Do you ever play along with KaiserCrafts sketch challenges?  If not you really should.  This layout is based on the first sketch of the month so you have plenty of time to play along.  CLICK HERE  to go to Kaiser's blog and  link yours up and you might just win a whole collection of your choice.  How cool is that?

Here is a close up of some of the layering on my layout.  KasierCraft's collectables always make that so easy.

Bread Box Tutorial with Cheery Lynn and Scor-Pal

Everybody loves a warm loaf of bread and there no better gift that something from the heart, but you might need a bread box to encase your precious gift.  Lucky you today I have a tutorial for a mini bread box that will come in perfect for those occasions.  So let's jump right in.

Step One: Cut card stock 8 1/2 x 11.  Score at 2 3/4 and continue to do so on all four sides.

Step Two : Score at the 1/2 inch mark and again do so on all four sides.

Step Three: Cut Away the corners as shown below.  Also cut slits as shown.

Step Four: Fold and crease all your score lines and tape using Scor-Tape.

Step Five: Cut 2 design card stock pieces 5 1/4 x 2"  and 2 pieces 2 3/4 x 2 and adhere them all to the box.  Remove your tape cover and tape your box together and DECORATE!!!

Here are some completed pictures of my bread box.

I made handmade flowers using my Cheery Lynn Dies along with the fancy edge and bee...here is a complete list of all my Cheery Lynn Dies I used for this project.

This project was adapted from Mary Jo Beth Williams original post.

Smile It's Wednesday

Happy Hump Day everybody...man is this week flying by.  Today I have a card I created for KaiserCraft using the collection " In The Attic" .  I have really gotten to where I love mixing patterns that I never would have thought went together and yet once it's finished they all come together so nicely.  I also will say layering , layering and layering is something I do a lot on my projects.  I should buy some stock in foam tape, LOL.

See you on Friday with another tutorial and post for Cheery Lynn Designs.

My Baby Boy

It's hard for me to believe that my youngest is already 7 going on 30...where did the time go.  I adore looking back at his baby pictures.  He was so beautiful and still is.  This is a 12 x 12 layout I created with KaiserCraft's Lullaby Collection.

One of the things that is so wonderful about Lullaby is it comes complete with pink and blue, so everybody is happy.
