It's all Natural with Graphic 45

This has to be one of my all time favorite collections from Graphic 45, Botanicabella and it's be re-released in one of their Deluxe Collectors Editions...YUM, YUM.  Today's project is a set of card made with the same collection and in the same style but different.  The first one is a step card and I literally think the butterflies are going to fly off the page.

My second card is an easel card one of my favorites.  They are so simple to create and really do present so well.  I used bees as the theme on this piece and I adore bee.  Did you know that bees are something that really defy nature/physics.  They truly are a little miracle and because of that fact we always used bees as a mascot for my oldest son Will.  He was certainly one that defyed nature and so for teachers gifts and what nots we would have the theme of bees many times.  Needless to say I love bees, so I love this card.

Be sure to stop by Graphic 45's blog and leave some love about my projects but also check out some of the amazing work the rest of the design team has created.  I'm so blessed to work with such talented people.

Step up with Handmade Flowers

One of Cheery Lynn's latest dies is this step card die and let me tell you, it makes step cards so easy....so fast.   It's a must have for every die collection.

The flowers were created with a mixture of various flower dies.  The blue flowers were made using the latest flower strip, Gardenia, then I added in the center roses and topped them off with the center from the Black Eyed Susan die.  All mixed together to create a fantasy flower.

I can't imagine who wouldn't love to open up this thank you card and cherish it for years to come.

Here is a complete list of dies used on this card:

Enchanted Step Card

This is a card I created for KaiserCraft using their new collection " Enchanted".  Cheery Lynn Designs has a pixie die that was just perfect with the paper.  When I cut the fairy out I then ran it through  my Xyron Creation Station to cover with glue and then sprinkled with glitter so the fairy would shimmer...just the way a fairy/pixie should.

The flowers were created by cutting out the flowers from the paper, curling them up with my McGill tools and then topping them off with Cheery Lynn Designs die centers.

This is the interior of the card....I think it's perfect with the sparkle on the front of the card.  I'll see you on Friday with a beautiful card for Cheery Lynn.

Step It Up!!!

I hope you have been enjoying the latest release from Cheery Lynn this week.  It's just simply stunning.  This is a step card I created for Cheery Lynn and KaiserCraft...using the latest from each.  The paper line is Needle and Thread, KaiserCraft.  Also so vintage, shabby, wonderful!!!!

Of course all the flowers are handmade from the latest flower strips...YUM!!!

I cut down the doilies to work perfectly in the center of my stair card.  It adds such an elegance.  The City Girl Edger was used to create the paper lace at the bottom of the card.   I just love this card so much and hope you do too.  Have a great weekend and I'll see you next week.

Here are all the dies used on this piece:

Where have you been? Who Me?

I did so well through the holidays having my post scheduled and then ...post holiday, OH NO!!!!!  With getting back into the schedule somehow I overlooked my darn blog.  Today I was looking and thought oh no where have I been?  I haven't posted since the end of December.  Not a good thing, that's for sure.

Now don't worry I have been hard at work on design team work for CHA and upcoming posts, so there is plenty in the works to inspire you 2013 style.

This is a step card I created for KaiserCraft.  I love, love, I mean love this collection.  Tropicana.  Did I mention that I love it!!!  It screams 1940's holidays to me for some reason.  Kaiser is always so great at that vintage feel.

Please stay tuned because Saturday I have some Rockin cards to share with you...so don't forget to come back and take a peek.  Happy New Year and I look forward to living it up in Blog land with you!
