I Love You Latte Heartfelt Creations

 

I just love, love, love Heartfelt Creations, but you guys probably have already guessed that, LOL.  This month's collection something else that everyone seems to love....Coffee.  Coffee talk is such a cute collection that makes the cutest coffee shaped cards.  In fact I made this one into a coffee easel card. 

This entire card was created on plain white card stock and stamped to create all the various patterns...and all from the Coffee Talk collection.  So just imagine curling up with a warm cup of coffee, chatting with friends and then being able to give them this card to tell them how you much you care.  I've got complete directions for creating this card on the Heartfelt Creations blog, so go see how you can create this easel card yourself.  Oh and while your there I know you find lots more inspiration from the rest of the HFC design team.  See you soon!!!!

 

Pretty Pretty Poinsettia with Crafters Companion

You know how much I love easel cards and I couldn't think of a better adornment than this beautiful poinsettia flower bloom I created using the newest die from Crafter's Companion.  I love the statement it makes on the front.  Stunning!!!

A Touch of Elegance

 

Hi everyone.  Today's card is one that I just love, love, love.  I'm using Graphic 45's Botanicabella rereleased collection along with some of my favorite dies and card stock from Crafter's Companion.   I think the two together make for one more elegant easel card. 

 

I topped it off with some ribbon from May Arts.  This is one of my favorite ribbons as it has wired edges so that helps to be able to make bows fluff and stand just the way I want them to.

It's all Natural with Graphic 45

This has to be one of my all time favorite collections from Graphic 45, Botanicabella and it's be re-released in one of their Deluxe Collectors Editions...YUM, YUM.  Today's project is a set of card made with the same collection and in the same style but different.  The first one is a step card and I literally think the butterflies are going to fly off the page. 

My second card is an easel card one of my favorites.  They are so simple to create and really do present so well.  I used bees as the theme on this piece and I adore bee.  Did you know that bees are something that really defy nature/physics.  They truly are a little miracle and because of that fact we always used bees as a mascot for my oldest son Will.  He was certainly one that defyed nature and so for teachers gifts and what nots we would have the theme of bees many times.  Needless to say I love bees, so I love this card.

Home Run with Graphic 45

 

Today you'll find one of my easel cards featured over on Graphic 45 Blog.  I'll be the first to tell you I'm not a huge sports girl, but my GOSH...I love this collection.  It's probably the vintage retro feel that it has as most G45's collections do...but it's just stinkin cute. 

 

I also created a tutorial on how to make the faux leather I used on this card.  Check it out on Snapguide.  Not familiar with Snapguide?  It's the latest up and coming hot internet site.  You can find all kinds of tutorials on how to do...well about anything you can think of.

Very Blessed

I'm so blessed to have my family and loving friends.  I made this for a dear friend of mine who lost his father.  I can't imagine, as I'm so blessed to have both my parents.  He such a sweet heart and I know a card wasn't a drop in the bucket for how he must have been feeling, but I hope it softened it just a bit. 

This card was created using Graphic 45's Botanical Tea Collection and such stamps from Heartfelt Creations.  Of course all the flowers are handmade.

Love Life Circle Easel Card

 

Spring Bloom is one of KaiserCraft's collection releases from January and it's really a welcome collection with is spring colors and fun collectables. 

 

I made this circle easel card which is always easy but gives a great POW!!!!

 

Foam tape really makes layering so easy and give the card great dimension.  KaiserCrafts collectables make layer easy too.

Moments with You Easel Card

I'm really enjoying Heartfelt Creations paper collections.  They are new since I was last on the time and OMGosh they are so wonderful to use with their stamps and dies.  It makes creating so simple and easy as everything coordinates.

Directions for Project:
Create base easel card, you can find the tutorial here.  For the top cut a 6 x 6 base designer card stock. Cut two Decorative Corners from the Antiquity Paper in black.  Adhere one into the right corner using Xyron adhesive.  Attach the second corner in the top left but just a portion as shown and snip away the excess.  Do this neatly as you'll use the other portion of the left over corner in the interior of the card.  Stamp and cut Tattered Blossom flowers in various sizes.  Ink with three different shades of ink with the lightest color in the center and the darkest on the edges of the petals.  With your tweezers wrinkle the edges of the petals and layer and glue together. In the center add a generous dollop of dries clear glue and finish flowers with gala glitz and spray mist.  Stamp and cut two leaf flourishes from the classic leaf stamp.  Arrange the flowers in clusters as shown on card and tuck in leaves (cutting some apart) as shown.  Fussy cut tickets from paper and add to the front to finish off.   

In the interior of the card cut 6x6 designer card base.  Cut your left over corner so it is balance and adhere with Xyron.  Stamp Moments with You sentiment and fussy cut out.  Adhere with foam tape and apply over the corner die to finish card. 

Be Unique Easel Card

This is just one of those cards...I LOVE.  The collection is Base Coat from KaiserCraft and well, I think it's speaks for itself...it's just plain cool.  

The flowers were created using Cheery Lynn dies. They look so great mixed up in the corner. 

Butterfly Kisses Easel Card

Butterfly Kisses was one of KaiserCraft's latest collections for October.  It's a fun whimsy line that is great for Valentines day or girly type projects.  This is an easel card I created and it was really simple, especially with the cardboard chipboard accessories.

What a girly, happy, cheery collection from KaiserCraft....Butterfly Kisses.  I can't say this is my favorite color combination but sometimes using things that are the norm are a great way to push me outside of my comfort zone.  I do like the way this card turned out so it just show challenges can be so worth it.

Happy Birthday Dear Friend

A sweet friend of mine was having a birthday this week and when I went to my card stash, I realized ...I didn't have a good birthday card.  Really?  Of all the cards I do I really don't make birthday cards that much.  Honestly I think I do more sentiments that I have no idea who I would send them to or why? LOL.  Might be something I need to work on a bit.

I created this easel card using Spellbinders Dies, Justrite Stamps, Close to My Heart Stamps and of course some yummy Pion Paper.

An Easel Card Full of Sweet Nothings

I know we aren't even through the Christmas season and I'm already showing you Valentine's Day card....YIKES!!!  I did just have to share this easel card I did using the Sweet Nothings collection from KasierCraft...Valentines Days or not, LOL. 

Isn't this the most elegant collections...LOVE IT!!!

Easel Love Card

Good Morning and I hope the start of your week is going great.  Today I wanted to share with you an easel card I made.  The collection is from KaiserCraft Miss Nelly and you know how much I love the colors in this set...happy, happy, happy. 

The front of the card is adorned with handmade flowers using Cheery Lynn Dies.  The petals were all spritzed with water, crushed and then left to dry.  Once layered they really are full and beautiful.
 

The interior of the card is much more simple...so of course it will close.  The liquid pearls help tie in to the pearl brads on the front. 

I always think easel cards are so pretty, but I especially liked created it in the circle shape...just little different.
