Wishing I was at the beach......

Today I have a quick post for you ..... This is a necklace I made using Ice Resin.  I molded a sea shell and cast with colored Ice Resin enhanced with some glitter flakes.  After the shell had set up but not all the way I ran some sterling sliver wire through the top and added the hardware.  The ribbon necklace finished it off along with a sterling silver handmade clasp.

Have a great weekend and I'll see you next week!!!!! Keep on crafting.

Mixed Media Mini Album

This is such a fun mini album I created for KasierCraft.  All the trinkets and ribbon hanging off gives it such interest.  The collection I used for this projects is Novembers release " Through the Looking Glass" and if you couldn't tell it was my favorite this month.

I inked my handmade flower and then painted it with Ice Resin for a waxy look.  I loved the way the ink bled just a bit when painted, it really adds to the grunge whimsical feel.

One more view of the flower as I really think it's the center piece of the project.  I'll see you on Wednesday with a Heartfelt project so until then.......:)

The Miracle of Ice Resin with Video Tutorial

Today my post is a bit different....  As many of you know my degree is actually in Jewelry / Production Craft, thus I use metal lots of times in my projects.  Well now I've found the perfect pairing for me with Ice Resin and my crafting.  In fact Ice Resin is so innovative I've made a video on how I made this beautiful pin.  I hope it will inspire you in your mixed media journey.

Have a great weekend and I'll see you on Monday :)
