A Banner of Birds : Heartfelt Style

This is a banner I created for Heartfelt using their new collection : Springtime Cardinal.  My husband loved it when I got finished...you should have seen his face when I told him we couldn't keep it, LOL.  I may just have to make another.
Heartfelt Creations Products Use: HCPC 3388 Spring Cardinals, HCPC 3385 Spring Birdies and Roses, HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers, HCPC 3353 Cardinal Family Precut, HCPC 3316 Poinsettia Petals, , ZD20Z Zip Dry Glue, 159723 Dries Clear Glue

Other products and Tools: , Spellbinders Pendants In Spades, Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles Small, Copics ( E31, E33, E35, YR15, R05, BG11, BG15, RV04, YG23)Kaiser Craft Pearl Brads, Tim Holtz pearls/jump rings, Tattered Rose Distress Ink, Grunge Board Letters, Prisma Glitter, CTMH Chipboard Banner, Stampin Up Ribbon, 3-D Foam Tape, Prima Paper Madeline Collection, Crop-A-Dile, Files, Sandpaper, White Paint, Bazzill Swiss Dot Cardstock, Bazzill Pink Cardstock, Tattered Angels Diamond Glimmer Mist.
Directions:

Cover all the base banner chipboard pieces with patterned paper. Sand and file edges and ink with distress ink. Stamp cardinals, birds, leaves and flowers and color with Copic markers and fussy cut all images. For the cardinals color with R05 Copic but then color over the top with RV04 to give just a hit of hot pink, it helps the cardinal blend with the color palette. Layer birds on top of one another with 3-d tape. To create 3-D flowers spray colored/cut flowers with Glimmer mist, while still moist crunch and curl petals, let dry. Glue flowers together with zip dry glue for finished flower.

Paint all the Grungeboard letters with white paint, let dry and sand to bring the base pattern out. Ink edges of letters with distress in. Cover letters with Dries Clear Glue and sprinkle with glitter. Once dry ink edges again with distress ink. Cut 6 Spades Pendants out of pink cardstock and 6 scalloped circles out of green swiss dot paper. All components are done and banner is ready to be assembled. Letters are layered on die cuts with 3-d foam tape, and all stamped images are applied with 3-D tape. Punch hole in the bottom tip of two of the pendants and add pearl and jump ring. On remaining pendants glue down pearl brads. Connect your banner with ribbon.

Have a great hump day and I'll see you on Friday.... Hugs

This is awesome! I can see why your husband was crestfallen when he found out it wasn't yours to keep. I think I may have to make one of these for myself! Absolutely stunning!
