This card is for the frame it Flourishes challenge. I used a digi image from Sassy Studio Designs and my new cuddlebug Asian folder to add the cherry blossoms on the background paper. The finishing touches are from Close To My Heart's paper Unforgettable.

Beeeeeeeee Mine!
I used one of my loved
Alota Stamps for this little card. Their challenge this week is red, pink and cream colors. I also used glimmer mist and masked the stamped image out to spray around it....it turned out OK, but I really could stand to work on that technique just a bit more. This was for the Cuttlebug Challenge Got to use some of my new Cuddle Bug Valentines folders also...which is always fun. I love adding such dimension to my cards so quickly. Stamped a little sentiment, added a button a bow and BAM! a cute little Valentines Day Card.
This card also qualifies for the following challenges:
Crafty Creations wings
All Sorts Challenge: buttons, bows and distress ( the glimmer mist)
Pollycraft : Things with wings
Have a Cherry Birthday!
I have loved this paper since I got it from my good friend, Barb...how cute is that cherry paper. I'm bad for wanting to save paper and not use it and that is one thing this year I am going to overcome...use it, darn it! So when Flourishes set out this challenge to do a Fruity Birthday how could I not go to my precious stash of cherry paper. I also managed to use my Gypsy that I am learning to love....I really need to watch some tutorials on that little baby. This card was also perfect for the Cute Card Thursday challenge....spots and dots.
Pop It Up!
This Flourishes Challenge is to use Pop Ups...now anyone who ever looks at my blogs knows I adore foam tape and making things have dimension. So this one was really easy for me. I also embossed and stitched on my card to add more textures. I also entered this card on the Gingersnap Creations challenge for embossing. I wish you could see how the gold embossing really pops in person.

Wishing for Spring
Yes, we had snow and ice...AGAIN! I'm trying to look at the happy side of things, I get to stay in and craft, but I am really sick of all this winter weather! So for this card I used Flourishes Primrose stamp and thought of how much I adore spring and the budding of plants. I also entered this in Flourishes Anniversary Challenge " My favorite Flourishes Stamp" I colored and shaded the background paper of the stamp and really like how that turned out. The paper is from Close To My Heart "Magic Moments" and it's always been a great standby. I applied small pearls to the paper and colored all of them with my copics to give a pink hue. Finally foam tape (love that foam tape) was used to pop the images and a little more embellies and some ribbon really drew this card together. The sketch that I used was from Creative Inspirations blog challenge. Let me know what you think of my card...love to get some blog love.

A Little House Mouse Challenge
I love the House Mouse Stamps...heck who wouldn't. They are so adorable in the various things they are doing. This one I did for two challenges but House Mouse. The first is the HouseMouse and Friends Blog challenge and it was the sketch. The second challenge was for the HouseMouse Blog Challenge and it was to do a HouseMouse Valentines Day card. I stitched with my sewing machine, though I'm not sure you can really see it in the picture. I of course stamped and colored with my copics. Used one of my spellbinders, some stickles, some dimensional elements from CTMH and topped it off with the wonderful Twinkle brads from Close To My Heart. How sweet is this card.

CTMH February Blog Hop!
Welcome to the Close To My Heart Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you just hopped over from Carol's Creative Blog...WELCOME.
We have an adorable stamp set this month...that is just scrumptious for the Valentine Holiday or any festive occasion. "Piece of Cake" stamp set will help you create your own beautiful artwork. It has 10 stamps that are great to color in with your blender pen or watercolor pencils. The set retails for $22.95 but remember you can always get it discounted or even FREE with a qualifying purchase.
I have to tell you as of late I have really been fascinated with fancy fold cards...waterfall cards, tri-fold shutter cards, you name it...I want to try it out. This is a shadow box card that I had a lot of fun doing and I felt this stamp set just set it off perfectly. I used the Daydream paper pack that is always so girly and cute. The paper flower embellishment I made with a 1/2 inch x 12 inch strip of paper that was accordion folded and then glued together to form the flower...then I topped it off with a button and waxy flax...love that waxy flax. I also random stamped the pink background paper to give a subtle pop. I took several pictures of the finished card just to give you a good feel for the dimensions and structure of the piece.
Now your ready to hop on over to Michelle's beautiful blog and see what fabulous creation she is ready to share with you.
Remember either email me lorileng@bellsouth.net or visit my website http://lorileng.myctmh.com/ to get your "Piece of Cake" stamp set before it's gone.

It's my funny take on the Clearly the Best Video contest that CTMH is currently holding...so click on the video, get a chuckle and then come back and view it everyday, or better yet, forward it onto some friends of yours to give them a laugh while they learn.
Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge
So I told you I did several challenges being back home tonight...and this is another one I did for the Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge. The Challenge was for a sketch and I used this adorable little Magnolia chef stamp that my sweet sister gave me for Christmas. I hadn't had a chance to use him yet, and was thrilled to get to this evening. I colored him using my Copics and actually tried to use some techniques that Suzanne J Dean has inspired me with. She has some great videos on Copics if you haven't watched them yet on YouTube. Anyhoo...I think my shading is getting a bit better. I start a Copic class tomorrow so you can all judge for yourself in the coming weeks how my coloring progresses. Now onto the card...I used the Emporium paper pack from Close To My Heart...one of my all time favorites. I also random stamped some Sweet Leaf card stock for the flowery bottom print and of course pulled out the much loved Spellbinders for the label...some creme brulee ribbon topped it all for just a subtle finish. The card is actually very simple but I feel the little chef boys stand for himself. I will say the Magnolia images are so much fun to color...you really should give it a whirl.
It's a Sweet Week , Home Again, Home Again
I'm so happy to be back home this evening and get into my craft room. I'm blessed that I was able to stay with my parents during the snow storm (they have a generator) but there is nothing like your actual home...and your actual craft supplies. So in my zeal to be back on the mountain I did several challenges this evening. The first is for Alota Rubber Stamps. I adore their cute little bee stamps and so I sat down with my Copics and created this whimsy little card using the Daydream paper pack from Close To My Heart. The challenge was to use punches and I used them as the back ground tiles for my stamped image. I hope you enjoy and I hope with this chilly weather we have been having you have been able to snuggle in and create some warmth.
